Introducing Shapes By Design

February 5, 2008      Nichole Heady

Allis_headshot_2A little about Alli Miles…

With new inspiration in my life, I delved into paper crafts after the birth of my son in 2002 by creating simple scrapbook layouts.  It wasn’t until early 2004 that my interest shifted to rubber stamps and cards when I attended a SU! workshop and signed up to become a demonstrator.  Now, 4 years later, I can say with confidence that stamping is a form of therapy- a time for me!  In addition to being a papercrafter and stamp designer, I am a work at home mum, an online school teacher, a wife to Stephen and mum to two precious children.  When I am not stamping, you can find me playing games with the kids, enjoying the great outdoors, gardening, on a date with my husband, or reading a good book.

Why I love my first stamp set, Shapes By Design…

I absolutely LOVE that Shapes by design was inspired by the patterns in my day to day life.  In addition, I love that it coordinates with so many of my SU! and EK Success punches as well as my Nestabilities by Spellbinders.  And finally, I adore the fact that this stamp set is gender-less and can be used for all occasions.

Allis_card_2 (For details on this, Alli’s very first project created with her own stamp set, be sure to check out her blog HERE!)
