I’m excited to see what other great stamps sets you create in the coming year. I think I would most like to see patterned paper.

Even though I’m too tired to think straight from the release party, I would LOVE to see the Stampers Select cardstock in vanilla or ivory.

I would like to see a coffee set or a set for different candies. I have all of your label sets and would love to see more of this type. I love to give little gifts to my kids teachers. I make more gifts than cards.

I would like to see a spiritual encouragement set. With a sentiment,”I prayed for you today”, “I am blessed to have a friend like you, or “you are a blessing”. I cant seem to find anything like this anywhere.
Thanks for listening. I love all your work.

I’d suggest something but whatever you come up with is always better than what I think to suggest :-). I’m always on the lookout for good anniversary stamps, though.

I would love to see more label patterns, a life stage/relgious milestone verse set marking all major events, and more sets that coordinate with punches.

    1. I would love a spiritual blessing set also, “bless you”, “have faith”, “trust and hope”, etc.
    2. I like the idea of stamps made to fit the Nestibilities, like you have shown.

  11. Rebecca says

I would love to see a larger alphabet set that can be used with mega or giga punches. I create tags on my gifts and I like to just have the initial of the person that the gift is for on the tag.

I am always looking for cute pet sets. There are some but most are either too cartoony or just not very cute. I would love to see what your talented mind could create!!!! Thanks!!

I’m sure we’d all like to have special order stamps with our names on them–something along the lines of “Handmade by Jane Doe, Copyright PaperTrey Ink”.

  15. Jen Cozz says

I love the idea of journaling spots. Maybe a swirl building set. A set of reverse words (like there’s one each of in B&C)with an overlay border. (I loved the one in Spooky Treats that you added the dotted oval on top of.)

  16. Marie says

    January 15, 2008 at 10:15 AM

My #1 wish is definitely a sentiment set (similar to Holiday Wishes) for birthdays. Thanks for taking the time to consider our input!

Journaling spots. Reverse word and image set with a border overlay. Build a swirl set.

  21. Jennifer Kirk says

    January 15, 2008 at 10:18 AM

I love the idea of “journaling spots” that someone else mentioned. Just journaling lines that fit inside the different sizes of Nestabilities would be perfect. So you could just punch out the shape and stamp the lines on it.

Stamps that coordinate with the different Cuttlebug embossing dies would be fun, too.

And I’m so impressed with how pretty the heart tins you released this month are. I would love to see more tins and alterable things with stamp sets that coordinate and fit perfectly.

I’d like a coffee and tea set!

    I’d like to see more girly-girly stuff…just coz I don’t think I could have enough…ever.

I’d also like to see more sentiments “in the round” because I love words written in a circle. šŸ˜€

  27. Erica says

My number one would be a set for sentiments to put inside the cards. Some other ideas migh be a cupcake birthday set suitable for kids cards. Maybe with different stamps for the frosting, sprinkles, etc. How about a star borders and corners set? A larger alpha would be nice as well. Just a thought.

I would love to see you add May Arts ribbon to your store. It would be nice if you offered it by the yard AND roll. That way you can purchase a yard or two of new ribbon you’ve never seen, and if you love it, you can come back and get a roll on your next order! I love tons of their ribbon and would love to be able to buy it here while I’m buying my sets on the 15th every month!

I would like to see a set that has pretty house and nest images with sentiments referring to moving, new nest, or welcome neighbor. It is our family tradition to welcome our new neighbors with a hand delivered homemade pie along with a handstamped note (of course). I have grown tired of my same old house stamp images. I would like some new ones designed by Papertrey.

I would love to see an add-on set that would coordinate with “Paper Tray” to create greetings for all the major holidays – New Year’s, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s/Father’s Day, right on through the calendar (with a few neutral design elements). I’m always looking for holiday greetings that are neutral enough to be used with a variety of styles/images, and I think the Paper Tray font is perfect – I’d love to see more of it!

I’m quite new to Papertrey and already loving the stamps set I have purchased. It has been mentioned I think but I am searching for stamps that convey a sense of hope and assurance – ‘You are not alone’, ‘In my prayers’, ‘You are loved’ etc that would fit into the Nestabilities please.

I love sentiments/quotes, which is one reason why the new Out on a Limb is so appealing to me! I have enough Welcome baby, mother, father, congrats, one word items, but quotes? I will never have enough quotes.

Quotes for sympathy or get well that are not specific to Christianity (I have many friends of different faiths), are always appreciated. I’m tired of just Thinking of You… Thanks so much for opening up another give-away! You folks are so generous!

I would like to see your paper in Ivory. In addition, your stamp set of Snowflake Serenade was wonderful because the words were large and could be used seperately. I would like to see another stamp set using this size range for general thinking about you, a little note, etc with bird images. I know it may be covered with the butterfly and ladybug images, but your vision of birds would be lovely to see (read have).

    Thanks for your creativity.

you are probably tired of hearing it but masculine sets are on my list of wants. Especially preteen/teen boys. It’s really hard to find things to do cards and gifts for that age group that isn’t sports related. Music, video games, robots or even just some great sayings would be great.

  58. Sue B says

I would love to have a birthday sentiment set. I already have lots of cakes, presents, etc. for the outside of the card, but need something for the inside. And I would love it if some of them were unisex. Too often they are mushy/girly and it doesn’t work on a card for a co-worker, neighbor, teacher, man.

I think it might be cute to have a stamp set with animal fronts and backs. Think of the cute bag possibilities! One side of the bag could have the animal face and the other side could have the animal butt/back. Maybe like a pig front and a pig butt (circle with curly tail). This might be able to be able to be coordinated with the circle punches. And my some little feet for the sides. This could be useful for just cards too. There could be some cute sayings too with a play on the animals.

I love the idea of some scripture/religious sets, especially for the inside of cards. I seem to never have any sentiments for the inside of my cards. Also, I love the idea of a bigger alphabet that is simple in style. Something that would work in my scrapbooks. I also second the idea of a set that would work for younger kids (preschool/elementary age). Mostly, I’m just looking forward to more of the same from Papertrey! I love your products!

I think it would be fun to see some space (rocket ships, planets, aliens) images appropriate for little boys.

I would also be really excited about a baby set that included images like teddy bears and chicks that could be used for either boy or girl or even neutral (as so many people seem to be waiting to reveal the gender of their babies these days).

I would also like to see some woodland inspired images (mushrooms, pine cones, caterpillars).

Another great one would be beverages (martinis, wine glasses, champagne flutes).

And my last request…Linear dividers. Like the kind of thing you would see just under a person’s name on a piece of stationery that would dress it up just a little.

Thanks for being so open and receptive to your loyal customers!

I would like to see a set that is geared towards Children’s Birthdays/events of their lives. Even though I no longer have younger children, I do have a grand-daughter that will be 2, and being able to make her cards/tins/treats with images in that younger age bracket would be perfect.

Maybe even a Southwestern themed set (I’ve lived in Arizona all my life). Not just cacti, but shrubs, and desert life animals (Owls, roadrunners, coiled snakes, howling coyotes, quails, etc.), maybe even a boulder or two.

How about a sentiment set full of sayings totally geared towards MEN? We can all come up w/ masculine cards if we think about it hard enough but then never have the right words or phrases to go along with the cards!
    Just my thoughts.

A cupcake set! Kind of like Piece of Cake, where the components are separate – I’d like separate stamps for the cupcake bottoms, for the frosting (maybe different frosting designs – swirly, plain, etc.), for toppings like cherries or sprinkles. Different sizes of cupcakes would be great too! Sentiments to go with it could be both cupcake related, like “Hey cupcake” or “Have your cupcake and eat it too” and more general, like birthday sentiments, congrats, etc.

Just to name a few… Also, on the tool side of things I would love to see the snaps from Basic grey and the palette ink in spots. And something that is a long shot but I would totally use is a recipe set. Something I can use in my kitchen as well as share the recipe. I cook/bake a lot and I get requests for the recipe and it would be totally cute to share the recipe with a cute stamped image instead of a plain white print off. I was thinking of a “cup” set that could have one main cup image with tea, coffee and hot cocoa (marshmellow/whipped cream) accents. Maybe a little band around the cup that could be decorated with different patterns, kind of in the way you’ve done with the avery labels or build-a-ribbon sets. Also, matching sentiments or quotes such as “cup of kindness” or “you’re tea-riffic”.

I also second the votes that have been given for ‘inside the card’ phrases/sentiments/quotes.

  195. Mary K says

    January 15, 2008 at 12:44 PM

I’m sure it’s been mentioned already (I saw it on the forum previously), but sentiments that come from a single person, not a couple/family. i.e. “From my home to yours” instead of “our home to yours”. Or a baby set with an extra “s” available for welcome little ones if they’re expecting twins.

    January 15, 2008 at 12:44 PM

hmmm this is hard. I do love flourishes. I would really like a couple to be mirror images of each other. Sometimes I want the same flourish on either side of something but hardly any flourish sets come that way! You could make the customizable with little interchangeable end points, like hearts, flowers, stars, clusters of berries, etc…

I would love to have some pdf files of the images/sentiments in each Papertrey set, for purposes of an “inventory binder” that will help with design, layout, inspiration, AND organization. Also, some sort of image cover sheet/decal/label for the standard CD case storage for each set would be nice… So all stamps get back to the right place, etc. etc.

    Thanks for all you do!

It is hard to say what I would like because sometimes you know better than I do. My daughter is 5 so maybe something I could build a school or ” Best Friend” related page around and well as use for an invitation for birthdays. I loved that Santa was more of a Pere Noel not a “coca cola” Santa, so more of that style would be great. Also her Best Friend is our Lab (dogs are not just for boys you know!) so maybe an animal set, but not the baby shower kind of animals.

I’m not sure how things could get much better from Paper Trey but if I were dreaming I would love a basic alphabet that allowed you to add elements to it to change fonts by stamping. For example you could add dots overlay to make dot letters, or flowers, or a swirl/little flourish to make the letter fancy….Essentially multiple fonts in one set.

    1. I would love to see a sympathy set. It’s always such a tough set to design and use. But your elegant touch lends to this idea and I think you could make something beautiful.
    2. Maybe even a “mini” set for $10 or something. Just a few images and one sentiment.
    3. And I would love to see charity sets, i.e. breast cancer (near and dear to me), multiple sclerosis, ALS, etc. Maybe create a special guest star stamper for people with the “problem” you to choose to donate to and profile their story along with their creation.
I’ll stop now. Thanks for all you do and I anxiously await with PT brings me this year.

    Hi Nichole!

A B&C set for the nestabilities. I know this is a challenge because of all of the sizes, but could it be that the stamp you design only covers 3-4 scallops of each size? I wonder if some of the spacing between the scallops is the same for the square and rectangle (to reduce the quantity of stamps needed)?

A vintage set would be cool ….

A coordinating stamp set to go with cuttlebug’s build a flower die cuts (coming out soon) …

I also think extra long Faux Ribbon stamps would be cool … you could wave them up and down on your acrylic block to make some very interesting background paper designs.

Thank you for your wonderful ideas!

I’m jumping in late and there have been so many fabulous suggestions.

    1. a teacup large enough to slit across and put a teabag in.

    2. the build-an-easter-egg would be useful

    3. Larger alphabet in same font as one of the others to use w/three letter monograms (large in the middle, smaller on the outside)

    4. The un-holiday sentiments (new job, retirement, new house, moving etc…)

Thanks for asking our opinion. Love your site and products!!!

The more sentiments, the merrier (especially in some pretty font styles).

Website suggestion: It would be nice if there was an area in the store where all of the newly released items were featured. It would make shopping much easier. šŸ˜‰

  489. LIsa says

    January 15, 2008 at 7:21 PM

I’m always needing more Birthday Sentiments. Also masculine card themes are rare. Baby and kids cards are a great need for me also. Inside sentiments are nice as well although I’ve resorted to typing up my own on the computer and putting it on paper, edging it with a pretty cut edge trimmer and taping one side, like you see with the store bought cards. Hmmmm…how ’bout a beginner’s acrylic block set with a basic stamp set? Or maybe a PTI book – with templates and samples stuff, that we could use to our hearts’ content. And a clear-stamps technique primer in it (examples of slightly bending the stamps, hints on inking, etc like SU has for their stamps). Or a smaller version booklet, for a nominal cost with purchase? Oooh and some detailed stamps, lighthouses / covered bridges / etc. Or some specific-flower layer-able stamps: daffodil, tulip, rose, etc.

Some type of gridded plastic thing where I could poke little dots or pencil marks all over a page and then go back and stamp on them. I think one of the coolest things about Papertrey is that you design things that coordinate with things we already have. I’d love to see more of that- more sets for nestabilities or cuttlebug dies. I think the stamps for the inside of cards is a good idea too.

I would like to see a coffee set. I haven’t seen a cute one since the retired SU set Like it a Latte. Build a florish sounded like a great idea too. Any stamps that go along with the nesties or cuttlebug would be awsome. But in all reality, anthing you come up with will exceed all expectations.

In all honesty….I feel that there is a general lack of boy type stamps. I’m not talking cutesy, little boy stamps or baby stamps. I’m in search of stamps that a 8-11 y/o(or up to teen!) boy would not roll his eyes at!!!

A stylized treble and bass clef and some clever musical sayings, like familiar song lyrics, quotes, occasion songs like Happy Birthday, Auld Lang Syne, White Christmas…etc…

Oh, and next time you create a label stamp, could you add a small dog bone to fit in the center of the circle on the labels? I often give homemade gourmet dog treats as a gift to my canine friends.

Solid petals with a blank space where the stamen will go, an outline petals stamp, the stamen and the little “dots” on the end of it and a leaf. a “build” a tiki mask so you can stamp it a layer at at time in different colors and a build a hut stamp:) Thanks for letting me dream! Examples?

I try to avoid looking forward or backward, and try to keep looking upward.
    -Charlotte Bronte

Laughter is the shortest distance between two people.

    -Victor Borge

Half an hour’s meditation each day is essential, except when you are busy. Then a full hour is needed.

My next wishes would be to have a fancy chocolate set and an insect set (especially with a dragonfly!) Oh, if I could squeak in a 4th request: something beach/seashell-ish would be awesome too!

This could be used for recipes and cards. Soup for get well soon, cookies and cupcakes for being so sweet.
