Melissa Phillips celebrates the beauty of gratitude with this soft and cheerful Grateful For You Card. 🌸💗 A delicate pastel palette pairs beautifully with layered florals, berries, and leafy details, while the oval frame creates a lovely window effect that draws attention to the heartfelt sentiment. The combination of the pale pink patterned paper, fresh greenery, and warm golden flowers gives this design a sweet, inviting feel that can be adapted for any season or recipient.
Melissa shares, “Expressing gratitude is a year-round feeling no matter what season you’re currently enjoying. I’ve combined an Autumn sentiment with a soft, pastel card, creating a window effect using my favorite Papertrey Ink dies. Come create your own using a different color scheme, sentiment, and dies and custom taylor to someone special.”
STEP 1: Use the Garden Hot Foil Plate as a press plate and create a background on your card front.
STEP 2: Wrap ivory scrunched seam binding around center of card and tie in a double bow on left. Ink blend die cut oval, splatter with distress spritz, stamp sentiment, and adhere to center of card.
STEP 3: Cut oval from Reflections die cut and adhere over stamped oval using foam adhesive.
STEP 4: Die cut and ink blend flowers and berries and adhere around frame.
STEP 5: Finish adding flowers. Add sequins and Crystal Stickles glitter to complete.
This beautiful project is a wonderful reminder that gratitude is always in season. ✨ The layered oval window, soft pastel colors, dimensional flowers, and delicate berries create a thoughtful design that feels both elegant and cheerful. With a few changes to the colors, sentiment, or die cuts, you can easily make this design your own for someone special.
Let Melissa’s card inspire you to create a heartfelt handmade card that simply says “Grateful for You.”
