TIPS:
- Add a background quilt for the bear. Create pattern fabrics using markers and white acrylic markers. Make florals, polka dots and designs to create coordinating quilt fabrics.
- Use a foam tab behind bear nose and back paws to make the bear dimensional on the card.
- To create a little cap for the bear, cut an additional head shape in a color that matches the bear’s outfit/body. Use an oval die to “scoop” out the cap to expose the face. A little cap is perfect for making a card appropriate for a boy or girl.
- Highlight the stitching on the bear by connecting the faux stitching dots using a fine tip marker. Tan is a great color to use. It shows, but remains subtle.
