TIPS: 

  • The flowers included in the set are great for all kinds of projects; I used them to accent a frame!
  • Try using two different sizes of circular frames to create additional visual interest.
  • Add instant depth by blending on a darker shade of ink than your card stock in the corners.

TIPS: 

  • Try using a textured cardstock for a realistic basket look.
  • Detail embossing powder really helps when using small or detailed stamps.
  • Use a Post-it note or small scrap of paper to cover up sentiments or focal points when adding white paint splatter.

    In the Cookie Swap cards I LOVE Liane Hodges card! As a baker myself it is very appealing to me – I love the flour spill that it looks like “spring” is written out in flour; the dough with the cut-outs below and the parchment paper sheets with cookies on it!! It’s got a very different and real look from the rest!

    Let prayer be your anchor by Kelly Lunceford in a cute demensional purple card was my favorite today! And let this season bring your heart renewed joy by Betty Wright was a tie for me to choose today. Both cards have so much color, demension, etched dies focal points along with a beautiful sentiment.     They are all so adorable but all the collie cards are just the cutest thing I have ever seen! I can’t wait for the release tomorrow!!!!

    I know you’re probably supposed to pick one favorite, but…. I can’t!!!
    Melissa’s Spring Basket card is gorgeous! Lots of subtle color and details. Kelly’s Easter cookie card is the cutest! Those cookies look real! And I love what Liane did with the flour! Very clever! Great job to all!!!

    I really love that spring basket! It reminds me of the tobacco baskets that we hang up in the house. Very unique. You don’t see dies like that anywhere!!
