TIPS: 

  • Use the smaller circle die included in the Timeless Ornament collection to create a smaller ornament…two for one!
  • Use portions of the Holly Berries stencils to cover selected areas of your Circle It die.  This allows you to add stenciling to specific areas to highlight your focal point.

TIPS: 

  • Use Distress Spritz to add color to your berries and ornament instead of ink blending or cutting from cardstock.  You’ll love the subtle shimmer and bold color it adds!
  • Embellish the center of your ornament by using a beautiful snowflake or two, berries, a mitten, pine tree, or any number of dies available at Papertrey Ink.

TIPS: 

  • Create a shaker card or tag by using the smaller circle die in the Timeless Ornament stamp set to cut a circle in the center of the larger ornament.  Use acetate or vellum to cover the opening of your shaker, fill with sequins, and enjoy!
  • Mix and match berries and leaves from different die collections such as I’ve done here using the holly leaves from the Into the Blooms:  Swag with the berries from our new Into the Blooms:  Bold Berries.

TIPS: 

  • When working with darker colors, add a glow from within by softly blending some white pigment in the center of the cardstock and buffing it out with a microfiber towel to soften the look before adding the focal images.

  22. How can you choose? I cannot! I like Melissa P’s ornament card with the town at the bottom. It has lots going on, but it all fits. My other favorites are Betty W’s blue/green holly with berries and both silent night with a church and musical background from Betty W and Melody R.

  24. Absolutely love all the inspiration! I am going to find it hard to work within a budget on this release!!! I am loving all the foiling plates, the beautiful berries and the Silent Night plates used in the cards! Honestly all the cards are spectacular. My favorites might be the last two by Betty Wright using those plates! Also swooning over all the large ornament cards too! 😍

  26. I liked all these cards so much. Each and every one of them was unique. I liked the color combo in Betty Wright’s card using the holly berries stencil and into the bloom swag dies. The Timeless Ornament looks awesome and there were so many takes on it I am excited about this piece as well.
