Hello, Everyone! Welcome to Melissa’s Fab Friday Feature

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Hello and Happy Fabulous Friday!  With Springtime right around the corner, I thought I’d create with our lovely Into the Blooms:  Pansies dies with the hope that spring might get here just a bit faster.

I wanted to share an easy way to “step up” this card today.  Both versions involve quite a few steps, but they’re easy, and this card can easily be “stepped up” with just a few extra steps.  Let’s get started!

STEP 1: Begin by die cutting our Into the Blooms: Pansies from white cardstock.  Sponge ink lightly over each surface area.  I used Summer Sunrise, Melon Berry, and Berry Sorbet for the petals and New Leaf, Simply Chartreuse, and Ripe Avocado for the leaves and stems.  Spritz with water and let dry.

STEP 2: Using the Stencils Basics:  Dots stencil and Berry Sorbet ink, stencils polka dots on the top two layers of the largest pansy.

STEP 3: Stamp tiny dots on top layer of pansy using the snow image from the Oh, Holy Night stamp set and Saffron Spice ink.  Assemble pansy.

STEP 4: Using the Stencil Basics:  Dots stencil again, stencil a die cut Border Bling frame using Lemon Tart and Simply Chartreuse ink. Layer over card base.
STEP 5: Cut a block of Bitty Big Sweet Blush paper and adhere to the center of the card.
STEP 6: Cut a 1” strip of coordinating patterned paper and adhere across center of card, just below center.  Wrap a strip of trim around center of card and tie in a knot on the left.
STEP 7: Cut a Love to Layer:  Torn Edges from white cardstock.  Stamp with sentiment across bottom of card.   Adhere die cut stem in between two words in sentiment, attach finished Pansy and embellish with adhesive gems.  If you want to add a few more details and take your card to the next level, follow along below.
STEP 8: Add second step and adhere the pansy bud to card front.  Attach die cut leaves and sentiment stamped on a die cut banner.  Embellish with adhesive gems, button, and Stickles glitter to finish.
