Welcome to Day 3 of our January Release. Get ready for inspiration overload! Let’s get started with the new Pattern Play stamp set and dies.
I had so much fun creating this card using this new stamp set. There are just so many ways you can use it and the possibilities are endless. The inspiration behind this set was inspired by a bright and playful braided rug. Each circle was a different color and pattern and when put together they formed the most unique rug. Well, that’s just what you can do with this new set of products, only with paper instead of fabric. Fun, right?
I used a mixture of cardstock and vellum stamped with the Pattern Play set. I used white, pink glitter, and pink embossing powder to create lots of texture, shimmer, and character. I added in a Delicate Doilies die to create just a bit of frill between my top layers. You can go as soft and subtle or as bold and vibrant as you want with this new set and it can cover any occasion under the sun!
I topped my Pattern Play circles with a die cut glitter heart, cut using the With Love die collection. I then used a sentiment from the With Love Mini stamp set and added it across the center of my heart. In the background, I added in some florals from the Bold Blooms stamp set, stamping them over my Border Bling: Tin Stitch die. I always love this effect.
Just wait until you see the fabulous creations our designers have whipped up using this new set!
Supplies Used:
STAMPS: Pattern Party, With Love Mini, Bold Blooms
INK: Sweet Blush, Harvest Gold, Bright Buttercup, Mint Julep, Fine Linen, Olive Twist
PAPER: Stamper’s Select White, Harvest Gold, Sheer Basics Vellum, Sweet Blush
DIES: Pattern Party, Border Bling: Tin Stitch, Love to Layer: Aztec, Delicate Doilies, With Love, Direct Messages Banner
OTHER: adhesive gems, twine, WOW! Salsa embossing powder, white embossing powder, pink embossing powder
TIPS:
- To create the tunnel layers I stamped Pattern Party stamps onto color cardstock using dye inks of coordinating colors.
- Each circle was die-cut off center to add more interest to the tunnel.
- I popped each layer using thin adhesive foam squares to bring some dimension but not to add too much bulk at the same time.
TIPS:
- To create more variations of patterned circles I die-cut some of them using dies of smaller size than their coordinating ones.
- I build each cluster going from the largest circle to the smallest ones. It was easier to position them going in this order.
- I used the tiny patterned circles as small embellishments around each cluster.
You’ll just love what I’ve got to share with you next. Our new Band-Aid Wishes stamp set and dies are ready and waiting for you to create with! Perfect for sniffling grandkids, friends who are under the weather, or kids who need a little perking up. Maybe you know someone who has a broken heart that needs mending…this set would certainly work for that too.
I went with a bright white band-aid box so that my tiny bandages would stand out. They are irresistibly cute! This is a perfect die collection to help you use up your patterned paper scraps…they make adorable bandages. I think my most favorite element of this set of products is the embossed dies you can use to dress up the front of your box. From Get Well to Thinking of You to Band-Aid…you get to choose!
You’ll find a variety of sentiments in this set to use across your box or to stamp down the center of each band-aid. If you love interactive cards and tags, this is one you’ll enjoy because you can remove the band-aids from the box, each stamped with a different sentiment if you choose.
In the background, I used the Clouds Stencil collection, wanting to symbolize brighter days ahead. I’ve also used the Border Bling: Tiny Hearts to wrap this card and its recipient in love. Creating “Get Well” cards just got much more enjoyable!
Sit back and enjoy the sweet treats our designers have prepared to share with you.
SUPPLIES USED:
STAMPS: Band-Aid Wishes, Beautiful Bouquet: Mother Mini
INK: Spring Rain, Pale Peony, Melon Berry, Ocean Tides
PAPER: Stamper’s Select White, Harvest Gold, Bitty Big Sweet Blush, Bitty Big Lilac Grace, Sheer Basics Vellum
DIES: Band-Aid Wishes, Love to Layer: Scalloped Circles, Border Bling: Tiny Hearts, Sweet Celebration

TIPS:
- Cut the Border Bling: Lots of Dots Die from patterned paper and added a solid colored cardstock behind the dots.
- Attached the band-aids and box with foam tape for extra dimension.
- Add Moonshine Sequins to add a little bling.
TIPS:
- Add a bright colored cardstock behind the Border Bling: Blooming Hearts cutouts to make the pattern stand out.
- Use a blending brush to add the color to the band-aids and then stamp the pattern
- Add die cut hearts to add to the get well theme.
TIPS:
- I used tone on tone colors for all the bandaids to stamp the patterned background prints.
- To make the band-aids pop, I stamped the outline details in black.
- Texture was added with jute twine and rain drop embellishments.
