Hi everybody, welcome to our next episode of The Great Cover-Up! Amy will be your guide today!
Let’s get started!
During the winter and holiday season, snowflakes and snowmen are some of my favorites! I decided to create a wintery background by impressing some of the snowflake dies from the Holiday Cheer Overlay Collection onto dark cardstock and then ink blend black ink over the top. Pigment ink was splattered for “snow”. While most of this background will be “covered up”, it creates so much texture to an otherwise plain background. To create a scene for the Joyful Snowman, a fun “layered” frame was created using the Love to Layer: Torn Edges Dies. Doesn’t Joyful Snowman look adorable decked out in blues?
