Hi everybody, welcome to our new feature What do I do with this?  For this challenge our designers will get to try out some of these new tools and share the projects they created using them.  We’ve got some fun, new things coming to the Papertrey Ink store and our designers will show you how to use them so you’ll be comfortable incorporating them into your card-making and gift-giving.  Stay tuned for exciting and creative things coming your way!  We want to share what our designers love with you, and this gives you a first-hand look into their crafty-faves!

Let’s get started!

I am back with another fun (and easy!) card showcasing two products that can be found on the Papertrey Ink website – Blending Brushes and Embossing powders! I first started off by ink blending the cardstock using distress oxides and Nuvo Blending Brushes. These brushes made it so easy for me to blend these soft buttery inks!! I then gets embossed the gorgeous blooms from Enchanted Roses using the sparkling embossing powder. The sparkles definitely add an extra punch to your card! I then stamped a sentiment and die cut the edge using Edgers #1 and placed it on a larger piece of Onyx Shimmer cardstock to finish off my card 🙂 Hope you give this look a try!

STAMPS: Enchanting Roses, Stylish Sentiments: Birthday
DIES: Edgers #1
INK: Distress Oxide Worn Lipstick, Abandoned Coral, Seedless Preserve, Chipped Sapphire, Black Soot
PAPER: Onyx Shimmer cardstock
OTHER: Nuvo Blending Brushes, WOW Embossing Powder Gold Sparkle, gold glitter cardstock
