Melissa’s Tips | Layering

Join Melissa Phillips today as she shares easy ways to create beautiful layers.

“I love creating depth with lots of layering.  My cards today show one way that I achieve this look and it’s easy!  Notice that in the upper left and lower right corners of my focal point/sentiment, I’ve stamped on the die cut where my sentiment is stamped but also layered stamps and die cuts behind these corners.  This look kind of reminds me of arranging flowers with large and small flowers and fillers placed in just the right spot so that they compliment each other and also so each addition can be seen.  I’ve used felt die cuts as well to bring in texture which also creates depth and dimension.”
