Welcome to Simple to Spectacular!
Who doesn’t love a simple, classic sugar cookie? But then you icing and it gets even sweeter and more decadent. And then you pop on some sprinkles and suddenly it’s a party! The idea of this feature will be to show how a single stamp set can be used to create a card from clean and simple to downright fabulous with a few extra layers and embellishments.
We have a few designers participating today and they each have three progressive card designs to share using the Vintage Linens stamp set. Enjoy!
“I just love the bold blooms in Vintage Linens and couldn’t wait to play with them again this month! Inspired by the stamp set title, I decided to create the hint of a vintage linen placemat of sorts to ground the stemmed flower duo in the set. As always, i stayed true to my typical clean and graphic style on all three takes, each one a little more involved than the last. From simple to stepped up to spectacular, I used the same stamps, colors, and basic layout. Stop by my blog to read more about each design.”

“How fun to use the Vintage Linens set for the Simple to Spectacular challenge this week. Vintage Linens has so many layering options for the images in the set and I played with the different options with each project progression along with adding other details like color blending and using die cuts. Each card is a stand out in its own way!”
