Today we’re introducing some exciting new products coming your way from Betsy Veldman. She’s heard loud and clear that you’re all smitten with her Huggable animals, so there are two more adorable critters making their debut. She’s also bringing you a seasonal series of gorgeous botanical clusters and borders along with a set of beautifully designed sacred sentiments. There is a little something for everyone today!

We also have a very exciting announcement to share today! As has become customary for our anniversary release, we are offering an 11% discount on all purchases* from 10:00 pm Eastern time on February 15th until 11:59pm Eastern time on February 16th! This is a fantastic opportunity to stock up on stamps, dies, and your favorite cardmaking staples like our signature cardstock! Don’t miss your chance to save big!

The Huggable series is an adorable way to wrap up treats for Easter, birthdays, babies, and more! Each character from the Huggable series coordinates with the Tag Sale: Huggable die. Use the stamps and dies from the Huggable: Bunny & Chick set to turn the Huggable tag base into two sweet spring characters. Wrap their arms to “hug” all sorts of treats including gift cards, candy, mason jars, and more. Or, tuck a sentiment under their arms for adorable interactive cards and tags!

We are happy to introduce 3 new colors collections in our Bitty Big patterned paper line. These collections are offered in single color packages, with a few new colors being introduced each month. Each package will contain 3 patterns, stripes, dotes and gingham. The three patterns are printed double sided, with one side featuring a small version of the pattern and the other side featuring large scale. So you get two options for your designs with less sheets to invest in!

  • Each collection includes 24 sheets (8 sheets of each double-sided pattern).
  • Each sheet features the bitty version of the pattern on one side, and the reverse features the big version.
  • Printed on smooth 8-1/2″ x 11″ text weight paper.
  • The collections will be available in Lilac Grace, Spring Moss, and Harvest Gold on February 15th.

Now that we’ve made all of the formal introductions, let’s get onto the projects!

Michelle-Leone

Michelle Leone is featuring Huggables: Bunny & Chick

Michelle’s little bunny looks as cute as can be in Soft Stone and Sweet Blush! The bright Berry Sorbet accents really pop against the pastel color palette, adding a whimsical flair. The Bold Borders: Blooming frame also gives her project a sweet, Springtime air.
Supplies:
  • STAMPS: Huggables: Bunny & Chick, Bunny Blessings
  • INK: Smokey Shadow, Berry Sorbet
  • PAPER: Stamper’s Select White, Soft Stone, Berry Sorbet, Sweet Blush, Simply Chartreuse
  • DIES: Huggables: Buny & Chick, Bunny Blessings, Bold Borders Blooming
  • OTHER: Misc. pearls, Nuvo Drops (black)
This lovable chick is totally charming peeking out from behind a heart-shaped frame. Michelle’s use of varied patterns is totally flawless and the bold pops of black add a nice contrast to the largely monochromatic design.
Supplies:
  • STAMPS: Penned Elegance
  • INK: Versafine Onyx Black
  • PAPER: Harvest Gold, Bitty Big: Harvest Gold, Stamper’s Select White, Summer Sunrise, Sweet Blush
  • DIES: Penned Elegance, Huggables: Bunny & Chick, MIM Kit: Shakers + Sprinkles
  • OTHER: Misc. twine (b/w), Nuvo Drops (black)

Michelle’s third card uses repetition and cheerful color to make a delightful statement. One egg on it’s own may have been too small to really stand out, but together they make a delightful focal point. The sprig of leafy green with each egg makes the whole design feel more dynamic and breaks up the tone-on-tone tags in a really pleasant way.
Supplies:
  • STAMPS: Huggables: Bunny & Chick
  • INK: Cocoa Bean
  • PAPER: Classic Kraft, Spring Moss, Ripe Avocado, Amethyst Allure, Hibiscus Burst, Harvest Gold, Bitty Big: Amethyst Allure, Bitty Big: Harvest Gold, Bitty Big: Spring Moss, Bitty Big: Pink Posie
  • DIES: Huggables: Bunny & Chick, Scalloped Tags, Noted: Scalloped A2 Vertical, Songbirds
  • OTHER: Misc. twine (natural), misc. sequins

Stephanie-Gold

Stephanie Gold is featuring Garden of Faith + Seasonal Borders: Spring

Stephanie has created something truly dreamy and ethereal with this card. The cascade of images floating across the card front follows a similar line as the sentiment and draws your eye across the design beautifully. Her color palette is unconventional and that makes the whole design all the more lovely.
Supplies:
  • STAMPS: Garden of Faith, Seasonal Borders: Spring
  • INK: Aqua Mist, Spring Rain, Dark Indigo, Ocean Tides, Stormy Sea, True Black
  • PAPER: Stampers Select White

This card is a riot of cheerful Springtime color! Stephanie didn’t need to add other embellishments because her eye-catching floral frame carries the day and gives the meaningful sentiment center stage. This design would also work beautifully for more somber occasions with a few simple color substitutions.
Supplies:
  • STAMPS: Garden of Faith, Seasonal Borders: Spring
  • INK: True Black, Canyon Clay, Melon Berry, Pure Poppy, Spring Moss
  • PAPER: Stampers Select White
  • DIES: Seasonal Borders: Spring

Stephanie added interest to this design by layering her floral elements both above and below the striped panel. She stamped some of the flowers onto patterned paper, giving those blooms a whimsical touch. Stamping her sentiment on a striped panel was also a great way to add an unexpected element to her project.
Supplies:
  • STAMPS: Garden of Faith, Seasonal Borders: Spring
  • INK: Smokey Shadow, True Black, Bright Buttercup, Harvest Gold, Lilac Grace
  • PAPER: Stampers Select White, Bitty Big: Spring Moss, Bitty Big: Harvest Gold, Bitty Big: Lilac Grace, Kraft
  • DIES: Seasonal Borders: Spring
