Oh good, now I may learn how to use the four gelatos I own. Great job, Melissa! Looks like next MIM video won’t be until May 18 (not May 11 as that is next Monday). It will be worth the wait I’m sure!

Melissa, you always amaze me with such beautiful projects. You really inspire me to add the extra bit that I would have never thought to add to a card or tag.

Hi, Cindy. Melissa named everything as she used it in the video. The stamp set for the flowers and sentiment is Petite Pots, the two background stamps are text style and super gingham, and the tag is Monthly Moments: Journal Card 6.

Oh, Melissa, thank you! I’ve been very interested in trying Gelatos, but none of the techniques I’ve seen have inspired me. Until I watched this! Now all I have to do is decide which colors I ‘need.’ Terrific video!

I don’t have any gelatos..is there another medium I can use to participate in this challenge?
Bev says
It still amazes me to see the beautiful effects that can be achieved with the smallest addition of an unlikely medium. Melissa hit the ball out of the park with this one. I love the little flowers on the tag and the auras created around them with gelatos. Wonderful technique and video!
Bev says
Shelly, what about trying this technique with colored chalks?
Try the technique on a practice flower first to see how it works.
Julie says
this tag is just so adorable – it puts a smile on my face 🙂

Really enjoyed this technique. Don’t have lots of Gelatos, but used some SU pastels and some chalks for my blues and greens. Thanks for the technique!

I need to watch the video on my lunch hour. I have no clue what Gelatos is? Thanks Christine
