Every month there is always confusion and many questions regarding ordering during release time. Since ordering at this time of the month is a bit different than the rest of the month at Papertrey, I thought I would provide you with a few bits of information on our procedures & policies.
NEW PRODUCT REVEAL
The new product for each release is scheduled to go live at 10pm EST on the night of the 15th. Because download times can vary on the back end of things, the new product can actually go live anytime between 9:45pm and 10:15pm EST, as long as nothing unexpected interrupts the process.
What this means for you? When clock strikes ten o’clock, do not be alarmed if there are still a few things that have not completed downloading yet. It always takes a few moments for things to finish up and all we ask is that your exercise patience while the download is completed.
While we try our very best to anticipate demand for our new release products, on occasion we do not have enough inventory on hand to meet everyone’s needs. Normally we are able to order more of a product the morning after the release and have it back in stock in approximately 2- 4 weeks.

Our peak time of the month is the 15th through the 22nd. If you order during this time, please be aware that it can take 3-7 business days for your order to leave our facility.
If you wait and order after the 22nd, orders normally ship 24-48 hours (Monday-Friday) after they are submitted.
We currently offer FREE shipping for those customers who purchase $80 or more and reside within the continental United States. If you qualify for FREE shipping, please be aware that the shipping method may change based upon the weight of your package.
At this time all packages are shipped via the United States Postal Service or UPS Ground. USPS Priority Mail takes 2 to 6 days to deliver a package in the continental US. PapertreyInk.com ships from Ohio. We reserve the right to ship your package using the least expensive method.
If you prefer to guarantee that your package is shipped via UPS, you can opt out of free shipping during the checkout process and chose to pay for it. We do not have this option yet for USPS, but it will be coming soon.
TRACKING & SHIPPING NOTICES
Once your order is placed with us during release week (15th -22nd), we print all of the shipping labels at once and then have our pickers and packers work through the stacks in the order that they were received. The shipping carriers software then emails you notification that the package has begun to move.
What this means for you? Depending on how many orders were placed around the time of yours, it can be up to 2 or 7 business days (see Shipping Times above) between the time your label is printed and when it is actually packed and leaves our facility.
If for some reason you do not receive a shipping notice via the shipping carrier, be sure to check your spam folder before contacting us. Tracking information can be provided via Customer Service if needed.
