Wow! What an overwhelming response we had to this month's release! The orders have been pouring in and that's a true sign that you all were hungry for masculine-styled images!
As I've said in the past one of my favorite things to do after a release is to scroll through all of the projects that the team has created and see the creative ingenuity they incorporated into everything. I usually like to share all of my favorites with you the day after, but the last few days have been full of this…
Owen playing soccer. Here he is going in for the winning goal…
and Hannah with softball. By the way, you would be pleased to know that all of YOU helped to sponsor Hannah's team this year! I get such a kick out of watching all the little Papertrey Ink t-shirts running around the field!
So, without further ado, here are some of my "Day After" favorites!
Betsy Veldman created this amazing project with Lisa Johnson' new Chair-ished set. I love how she applied all the different patterns to the same chair to create this bright and colorful project. The whimsy of Fillable Frames #2 complemented the style of the style of the chairs perfectly!
Heather Nichols paired up A Little Argyle & Fly Away to create this fun project. The Pure Poppy Bitty Stars paper just pops off of the kraft cardstock. I thought the little addition of the mini-star brad at the side of the ribbon was such a nice touch as well since it reinforced her "star" theme.
Debbie Olson assembles this stunning card using the dragonfly from Masculine Motifs, complete with a Background Basics: Woodgrain background. The variegated colors she used to ink up the dragonfly makes the project so serene. And I also love the layering she did with focal point, making it appear as though the dragonfly is about to take off from the page.
Erin Lincoln exercised her coloring skills with Year of Flowers: Sweet Peas. I thought it was SO incredibly clever to tuck in the peapod image from Baby Button Bits between it leaves. Totally looks like it just "belongs" there. The shape of the card is so unique too!
Maile Belles built an amazing argyle background with A Little Argyle to accent her Chair-ished rocking chair focal point. With the individual diamond stamp Lisa included in the set, it is easy to create a multi-colored argyle like this, and Maile executed the look flawlessly! And who doesn't love all those fun buttons!
Niki Estes took the unexpected route and made a fun and girly card with the new Enjoy the Ride set. The fresh & fun color scheme really grabs your attention and as always, her coloring skills are second to none! I love how the scalloped border around the focal point echos the daily pattern found in her floral background paper. So fun!
Melissa Phillips made this amazing graduation car using the new For the Graduate set along with the coordinating Mat Stack 1 die. I love the row of buttons and how she used a bright contrasting floss to stitch them in place. It really helps to tie in her color scheme. The border she stamped along the right-hand side using the cap image is subtle, but really drives home the theme. And I love that she paired it up with Star Prints. Such a great project for any gender!
Michelle Wooderson went above and beyond with her projects using Have a Ball. She incorporated them with the previously released coordinating sets, All-Star Team & All-Star Team Additions. Her argyle pattern created with A Little Argyle looks so good, you would almost think that it was pre-printed papers! I loved all the bits & scraps she stitched in place for accents. Such a fun look!
Dawn McVey created the most darling little notecard set with Fillable Frames #3 and her new April Color Couture downloadable papers. Her papers are always wonderful basics that you will want to use over and over again in different combinations. The cards may be simple, but they really pack a punch! The little button trio accent is the perfect finishing touch!
Kim Hughes created this stunning project using Year of Flowers: Sweet Peas. I love her use of velum and how she was able to make a single portion of the flower pop from the intricate background. Love all the sparkle and shimmer she created with glitter too. Who wouldn't want to receive something like this in the mail?!?!?
Lisa Johnson wowed me with her argyle clouds on this project, created with her own A Little Argyle set. When paired with the airplane and banner from Fly Away, you've got a match made in heaven! I thought the white scalloped borders at the bottom made it look as though the plane was flying above the clouds. And look how complementary the Argyle Impression Plate is in the background? Love it!
Ashley Cannon Newell created this amazing, delectable project with A Little Argyle and For the Graduate. I love the untraditional Raspberry Fizz & Dark Chocolate color scheme. And I also thought the overall layout was simple, yet so effective. Way to go, Ashley!
Well, there you have it! Didn't the entire team just do an AMAZING job this month? They never cease to amaze me! I hope all of this creative yumminess gave you the push you need to go get inky today! Have a wonderful weekend and be sure to do something creative!

I was sure sorry to see that Fly Away sold out before I got a chance to snag it up. I’m a private pilot and had my eye on that set from the moment I saw the very first sneak peak. I went ahead and placed an order for the otehr items on my list, but really wish I could have picked up the Fly Away set. 🙁

Yes, this is the first month i’ve been around for a release and the anticipation I felt everyday along with the projects from ALL of the designers was just outstanding! I’m still giddy from all of it and still putting together new orders from things that didn’t make it onto my release night cart!

I love all of the projects this month. Even though I make mostly girl cards (all of the kids on both sides of our family are girls), I still need the masculine stamps. And as expected, yours are the best I’ve seen. It’s so cool that “we” sponsored your daughter’s team. Love the shirts!

I loved the little PTI baseball team, that made me so happy. Takes me back to the days I coached the 8-10 yr old girls here in my hometown. They are so much fun at that age. The release was super terrific too!

All the projects were absolutely wonderful this month! I truly wished I could have ordered it all but alas I’m always stopped by that little thing called money! I did get the fly away – this was a must have since my husband is a pilot. To everyone – thanks for all of the hard work.
