Last month we made the announcement that we would start carrying patterned paper, and what a response we have had! This month’s patterned paper collection is something that I am especially proud of and very excited to present to you! I introduce the Pink Patterns Collection, exclusively from Papertrey Ink!
In case you missed our introduction last month, we carry the set of 6 patterns in both 6×6 and 12×12 sizes. The 6×6 pad includes six sheets of each of the six patterns for $6. The 12×12 pack includes two sheets each of six patterns for $6. The fun thing about the 6×6 pad is that the patterns are scaled down by half, making them a little more "card-maker" friendly. I took some photos to show you the differences between the two sizes, while also giving you a close-up view of each of the six patterns!

So there they all are! What do you think? Which pattern do you just want to grab from your monitor and get busy creating something fabulous?!?!?
I decided to pair two of my favorites in today’s sneak peek, Pretty Pink Polka Dots & Berry Sorbet Floral Print. It all starts with a focal point. I stamped this pretty swirl from our new Boxes, Bags & Tags set with Sweet Blush ink. I love how this image is singular. It enables you to be able to control the spacing & overall use of the image. The possibilities are enless with just this one stamp!
Next I added the sentiment "it’s your day" from Candice’s new set, "It’s a Celebration". I love those loopy "y’s"!!!
I wanted to do something a bit different with my focal point, so I adhered a piece of Berry Sorbet ribbon behind it. I then trimmed the ends in the formation of inverted v’s.
I pierced holes on either end to enable me to insert brads. (These are from Paper Studio, almost a true match!)
I then adhered it to the front of my card. I utilized two papers from our 6×6 Pretty Patterns collection. I created a scalloped edge with my slot punch (SU!) and adhered it to the polka-dot cover. I adhered Berry Sorbet grosgrain ribbon across the seam of the two papers. The focal point is adhered with foam dimensionals to help show off the ribbon I added to the back of it.
For the inside of the card I decided to use one of my techniques from long ago. I stamped my sentiment (from Birthday Basics, LOVE this set!) onto white cardstock.
I then trimmed the sentiment into strips.
Once adhered inside your card just slightly helter-skelter, you will have what I like to call sophisticated ransom style.

So, do you still want more? Amy got up and at ’em this morning and created a special blog post just for all of you! Please try to stop by soon and see her fun tutorial. You won’t want to miss out!
Don’t forget about both Alli & Candice! They will be showing additional projects using the stamp sets they designed too!

Thanks for sharing the full sized pics of the papers. The picture of the full book just doesn’t do those patterns and colors justice. Lovely card as well.
wow, these papers are gorgeous! I thought the first 2 were gorgeous, but you’ve outdone yourself!
I love the papers…. are they acid free?
I am amazed every month. Scaling down the paper is a brilliant idea…my goodness, Nicole – your mind thinks better than entire crafting organizations and you don’t just come up with a few good ideas – you are bursting with them. I just can’t say enough…~Jill G.~

You don’t really expect me to pick JUST ONE pattered paper, do you? They are all so beautiful and so are the solid colors. I am such a fan of the pinks! Thank you for sharing such awesome projects! Becky
I CAN NOT WAIT to get my hands on that pattern paper. I love it all!! YUMMY!!!!
Absolutely Brilliant, once again. I can’t believe the print is scaled down. Way, cool.
Absolutely beautiful paper! I just can’t wait to order, again…you do it every month!
OOHH Nicole,
These papers are sooo beautiful. I know when I add them to my stock I am going to have to try really hard to NOT hoard them.. I will keep reminding myself of Mish Mashes mantra..
PTI is a slice of heaven on earth! All of the new products and sets you have to offer are simply wonderful! And I can’t begin to tell you how much I appreciate all of the card and project samples! Thanks PTI gals! 🙂
will this be offered as a package deal again?
Nichole,
What a genious idea. Make the 12 x12 scaled down for card makers. When I first read that I thought, well that probably doesnt make that much of a difference but man, when you show the scaled down paper – it really shows the impact. So versatile. I could see me using the scaled down version for scrapping too just for another look. Such great prices too.
Wow-cant wait for more!
I’m so glad the new colors are pinks!! This paper is beautiful, and I’m sure I’ll be buying the color collection of inks and paper and designe paper to match. All the previews you’ve shown are stunning.
Bye bye paycheck!
I love the boxes bags and tags set! Frankly I think I NEED all the paper to create something!!! Especially the polka dots and in that yummy color…UGH! Thankfully I saved up so I can hit the “have it all button” lol…What great inspiration Nichole!
For those that have purchased the patterned papers – are they card stock weight papers or just regular 20 lb. paper ?
Oh! I adore the Pretty Pink Petals Paper! How darling!
I love this card, especially the way you put the ribbon behind the focal image/sentiment.
I think it is the coolest EVER that you offer the prints in two scales. Why didn’t any other paper company ever think of that? I also love your pinks–esp. Berry Sorbet! Can’t wait to buy it! Amy
I just love the pretty pink petals paper. Too pretty! TFS!
ONE MORE SLEEP!!! I am excited. I love love love the new stamps and colors. The Polka Dot and Pretty Pink Petals are my FAV!! And you know all this international shipping thing? Well that is so not a worry. Papertrey is worth it’s weight in gold let alone shipping! I am so on board. I just dropped out of my SU monthly group because there are things I can live without but PTI is NOT one of them. You rock, Nichole!
OMGoodness!! How is a girl supposed to choose a favorite when the papers are all so wonderful! I love all of them…really I do. I am so excited for this release. The pinks just do it for me. Thanks Nicole!!
This is my first count down, and I have to say the projects are very inspiring and I can’t wait to get my hands on this stuff!!! Wow!
I really like the way you did the sentiment on the front. And the paper is b-e-a-utiful! But please pray tell, how the heck do you make a scallop with the slot punch? I have one of those and would love to make those pretty scallops, too.
I would love to see something in the line of lavendar., with the colors that you have already made that would go great with. I just love the colors so far and can’t wait to order the new ones.
