Kelly Lunceford celebrates the arrival of autumn with this beautiful It Must Be Fall Card, bringing together rich seasonal hues, layered florals, and natural wood slice details. 🍂✨ A warm Terracotta Tile and Canyon Clay background sets the stage for the dimensional design, while the changing leaves, delicate flowers, and bold Scarlet Jewel “Fall” sentiment create a cozy seasonal feel. Kelly shares, “I can definitely feel autumn in the air; the mornings are crisp and the light has changed just enough to let me know it’s on its way! My card for today celebrates all of the beauty of autumn with wood slices autumn hues, and changing leaves!”
STEP 1: Cut an A2 panel of Terracotta Tile cardstock. Add the pierced detail around the edges and blend some Terracotta Tile ink around the four corners. Attach to an A2 card base.
STEP 2: Foil a panel of Canyon Clay cardstock with champagne foil. Blend ink around the edges and attach to the background panel with foam squares.
STEP 3: Cut a mat from Rustic White card stock and attach it in the center of the foiled design with foam squares.
STEP 4: cut and color the wood slices. Stamp the sentiment at the top of the largest slice. Attach to the mat using foam squares.
STEP 5: Die cut the word “Fall” three times from Scarlet Jewel card stock. Glue them together. Add some ink here and there and splatter with white acrylic paint. Attach to the wood slices with foam squares.
STEP 6: Cut and color all of the flowers and foliage. Tuck them here and they’re using liquid glue and foam squares until you’re satisfied with the arrangement.
