Kelly Lunceford captures the sweetness of summer with this charming handmade card featuring a delicious slice of pie surrounded by fresh raspberries, delicate blossoms, and lush greenery. 🍓🥧 A Raspberry Fizz background adorned with elegant champagne foiling creates the perfect backdrop for layered die cuts, while soft ink blending and subtle dimension bring every detail to life. Finished with a heartfelt sentiment, this delightful design is a beautiful way to let someone know just how much they mean to you.

Kelly shares, “There’s something so wonderful about the sweet summer harvest and celebrating the delights of the season! This card was created with that in mind; juicy raspberries, sweet cream, and the shimmer of foil make this card look good enough to eat!”

STEP 1: Foil an A2 panel of Raspberry Fizz cardstock with champagne foil and the Merry Motifs Hot Foil Plate. Add some Raspberry Fizz and Scarlet Jewel ink around the corners with a blender brush.

STEP 2: Adhere the background to an A2 white card base using liquid glue. Add the scalloped ovals to the center with foam squares.

STEP 3: Cut and color the pie. Glue it together and add it to the center of the background using foam squares.

STEP 4: Cut and color the berries and leaves. Arrange around the pie with liquid glue and foam squares.

STEP 5: Cut and color the flowers. Add them with liquid glue and foam squares.

STEP 6: Stamp the sentiment in black. Cut it out and add it under the pie using foam squares.

STEP 7: Add glitter for sparkle and shine!

This beautiful project is a wonderful celebration of the simple joys of summer. ✨ From the shimmering foiled background and realistic pie slice to the vibrant berries and layered florals, Kelly’s thoughtful details create a card that’s both elegant and inviting.

Hi Kelly–This is such a beautiful card, and it would be great to use this idea in a recipe book. Please tell me which die you used to create the raspberries. I love the texture on them. The way you colored them makes them look very 3D and real. Thanks for sharing!
