Penny here, and I can hardly believe it, but we have officially reached the final day of our July Release countdown! We always love to go out with a bang, and today we are wrapping up this incredible release with some truly show-stopping, large-scale florals that are guaranteed to make a massive statement on your projects.

 

But that’s not all! Because today is the grand finale, we are also celebrating with one of our favorite traditions: Designer’s Free Space! Today is all about big, bold designs and absolutely zero limits on creativity.

TIPS: 

  • Leave your stamp in your MISTI and then stamp over it again once you’ve done your stenciling with Versamark ink and heat emboss.
  • Die cut and stack the frame three times for added dimension.
  • Add a few flowers and some foliage around the corners to enhance the focal image.

TIPS: 

  • Stamp the flower image in Versamark Ink and embossing with Black Embossing Powder and then use the coordinating stencil. This keeps the outline crisp.
  • Use a marker to add subtle shading behind the flower.
  • Shadow the the sentiment is a darker color of cardstock so it stands out from the background pattern.

    Melissa’s sympathy card brought up fond memories of a good friend. When she passed her theme for her card and thank you notes had sunflowers.
