TIPS: 

  • Don’t hesitate using different colors for the leaves other than green!
  • Add some glitter to the leaves for sparkle and shine.

  3. I really love the rich and cosy colours that Mardi Rembold has used, it reminds me of home. I live in a very old cottage in England, and I can almost envisage a beautiful patchwork quilt in those colours, and how beautiful it would look on a wrought iron bedstead beneath the golden oak beams in my bedroom. MarDi’s design is really eye catching and makes me want to buy this beautiful collection and try and recreate it.

  89. Oh, boy! So many gorgeous cards! The card that made me smile the most, though, is the tree card by Liane Hodges that shows a different perspective. I once took a photo of the Coastal Redwoods laying on my back.

  90. The quilt cards by Liane and Brenda jumped right off the page. They are both outstanding and I can’t pick a favorite. The colors just pop and I love them.

  92. I am very attracted to how MarDi Rembold used the dies in her card. The simplicity is breathtaking and would serve many occasions. I am not usually drawn to pink but in this case it is beautiful.
