This card is 5″ X 7″ and uses a white card base made from Stamper’s Select White cardstock. True Black Ink was used for the black ink stamping. Here are the step-by-step details for creating this card.
STEP 1: Using the Leafy Garden Stencil Collection, stencil the leafy design on a 5″ X 7″ Coastal Blue cardstock using blending brushes and Distress Oxide Ink in Tumbled Glass (leaf body), Blueberry Sky Ink (leaf outline), and Spring Rain Ink (leaf veins). Move the stencil and add the pattern to an additional inch on the cardstock, following the same stencil layers and ink colors.
STEP 2: Die cut the stenciled design using the In Frames: Big & Tall Rectangles Die. Die cut an additional frame from Coastal Blue solid cardstock.
STEP 3: Die cut blossoms and greens using the Build-A-Flower Garden Die from cardstock colors: Sweet Blush, Blueberry Sky, Coastal Blue, Lavender Moon, New Leaf, and Stamper’s Select White. Add shading/coloring to the blossoms for more detail. Die cut the largest stitching heart from the In Stitches: Heart Dies from Stamper’s Select White cardstock.
STEP 4: Attach the florals and leaves to the heart. Stamp and die cut the “Thinking of you” sentiment using True black ink, Stamper’s Select White cardstock and the Meadow View stamps and coordinating dies
STEP 5: Attach the coastal blue frame, stenciled backdrop, and floral filled heart to the front of an A7 white card base made from Stamper’s Select White cardstock. Attach the “thinking of you” sentiment to the base of the heart. Add additional gem sticker pearls around the florals. Using the leftover leaves and florals, attach the extras around the frame for added interest.
