Melissa Phillips combines soft color, delicate texture, and elegant florals in this beautiful Happy Birthday card designed to make someone feel truly special. 🌸✨ Featuring the intricate Cover Plate: Lush Foliage as a layered background, Melissa creates a dreamy garden-inspired design accented with Into the Blooms: Wild Wood flowers, a vellum scalloped layer, and a graceful seam binding bow. Gentle ink blending, subtle splatters, and touches of sparkle add depth and charm, while the bold birthday sentiment takes center stage for a card that feels both heartfelt and refined.
Melissa shares, “Into the Blooms: Wild Wood blooms and our Cover Plate: Lush Foliage dies create the perfect backdrop for many different occasions. All you need to do is swap out the sentiment and change your color scheme if you’d like. I’ve chosen to create a soft, feminine birthday card for someone special.”
STEP 1: Cut Cover Plate from Stamper’s Select White cardstock.
STEP 2: Sponge pastel colors over each leaf and add to white card base.
STEP 3: Cut scalloped vellum circle and adhere to center of card.
STEP 4: Tie scrunched seam binding bow around center of card and tie in bow on left.
STEP 5: Ink blend center die using aqua ink. Splatter with Peacock Feathers Distress Spritz. Adhere to center of card.
STEP 6: Die cut and stamp sentiment and adhere to center of card.
STEP 7: Die cut and ink blend flowers and leaves. Splatter with Distress Spritz and arrange on card around sentiment. Finish with adhesive pearls and Stickles glitter.
