With the spring season here, I am feeling all the beautiful flowers from the March release by Papertrey Ink. This card features the following new Papertrey Ink products for this card, filled with prayer, love and strength for the recipient. I am sharing step-by-step instructions below. My card features the following new products:
Into the Blooms: Spring Basket Dies
Praying For You Sentiments II stamps and coordinating dies
Stems and Blooms Stencil Collection
This card measures 5″ X 7″ and uses a white card base made from Stamper’s Select White cardstock. True Black Ink was used for all the black ink stamping. Here are the step-by-step details for creating this card.

STEP ONE: Cut a 5″ X 7″ piece of white cardstock and stencil leaves and florals around the edges to create a border. Used Ranger Distress Oxide Ink in Spun Sugar, Mustard Seed and Picked Raspberry for the leaves, dots and florals, respectively.

STEP TWO: Using the Into the Blooms: Spring Basket Dies, die cut leaves, florals and the wicker basket out of New Leaf, Harvest Gold, Lemon Tart, Sweet Blush, Stamper’s Select White, Classic Kraft, and Dark Chocolate. Add pink stripes in two colors in both directions to the pink bow for a gingham-like pattern. Assemble the flowers and use Copic markers or similar markers to add detailing to the flowers including the bold lily centers. Add highlights to the berries.

STEP THREE: Attach the wicker basket to the card front.

STEP FOUR: Attach the background florals and leaves as shown. Use foam tabs to attach the white lilies. This will make the white blooms stand out in the bouquet. Attach the hanger and bow at the top of the basket.

STEP FIVE: Fill in the bouquet with the berries, roses and greenery, tucking them in behind the lilies. Create a diagonal pattern from upper left to lower right.

STEP SIX: Stamp, die cut and attach the sentiment using the Praying For You Sentiments II stamps and coordinating dies. Attach additional greenery as needed to fill in.
