TIPS: 

  • Use the Brushstrokes Stencils in colors that mimic a setting sun.
  • Ink the tips of your leaves in a slightly darker color of green to bring in shading and realism.

  • Use the leaf image as a background to stretch your supplies.
  • Use details from nature and a subtle color palette to create a sense of peace.
  • Use a foam mat and a stylus to create shaped flowers.

TIPS: 

  • Tear out book pages from an old book and use them with die cuts to create a vintage feel.
  • Need a spot for your sentiment?  Use the coordinating dies that come with many stamp sets and add them using foam adhesive to create dimension.

TIPS: 

  • Use a sand eraser to remove any over-foiling.
  • Try using the leaf portion of the tree without the branches for a delicate detail.
  • Don’t hesitate mixing and matching sentiments from different sets for a tailor-made design.

  5. It’s a hard choice but I th8nk I like Kelly Lunceford’s card the best. I love all the layers of blue we used and the gold adds a touch of elegance.

  78. Melissa’s sympathy card is gorgeous. Love how you used a page out of an old book for the background and the lovely layers. 2nd choice is Kelly’s gorgeous free space card. Love the blues and the pretty flower in the center. Of course, all the cards are beautiful. The designers did a wonderful job with this release.

  84. All the cards are so wonderful, the designs are making it hard to choose just one. I really like Melody’s sympathy card, and Melissa’s sympathy card is a close second.
