Project Inspiration: Uplifting Birthday Card by Brenda Noelke

Happy Sunday, friends!! Brenda back on the blog with a project inspiration card to share today!! I’m working on stocking up my stash of birthday cards for the year!! I thought the balloons from the Uplifted By Nature Die Set and the Wrapped In Love Stamp Set & Coordinating Dies from the latest release were a match made in heaven for this bright birthday card!!

Supplies

Stamps: Wrapped In Love

Dies: Uplifted By Nature, Wrapped In Love, Reflections: Hebrews 11

Stencils: Dotted Diamonds

Ink: Berry Sorbet, Harvest Gold

Cardstock:  Pale Peony, Lemon Tart, Berry Sorbet, Stamper’s Select: White

Other supplies: vellum, liquid glue

Step 1: Stencil the Dotted Diamonds Stencil Set onto a panel of Stamper’s Select White cardstock with Harvest Gold and Berry Sorbet inks. Stamp the tiny florals from the Wrapped In Love Stamp Set into the centers of the diamonds with the same inks. (In the end, this probably wasn’t necessary, as most of them were covered up.) Trim the panel and adhere it to an A2 panel of Berry Sorbet cardstock with liquid glue.

Step 2: Die-cut the largest die in the Reflections: Hebrew 11 Die Set from vellum and adhere it to the center of the panel.

Step 3: Stamp the floral and bow stamps in the Wrapped In Love Stamp Set onto Pale Peony and Lemon Tart cardstock with Berry Sorbet ink, then use the Coordinating Dies to cut them out. Die-cut the balloons from the Uplifted By Nature Die Set from Lemon Tart and Pale Peony cardstock and the strings from Berry Sorbet cardstock. Lightly ink the edges of the balloons, gift and bow with Berry Sorbet ink. Arrange the die-cuts and adhere to the background with liquid glue.

Step: 4: Stamp the sentiment, also from the Wrapped In Love Stamp Set, onto Stamper’s Select White cardstock with Berry Sorbet ink. Cut it out with the Coordinating Die and pop up with foam squares.

Step 5: Die-cut the highlights for the balloons in the Uplifted By Nature Die Set from Stamper’s Select White cardstock and adhere them with liquid glue to finish off the card.

This color combo is a little different for me, but I really love how it turned out!!
