TIPS: 

  • Use the beautiful oval image from the Such a Treasure stamp set to create a frame around your packages.
  • Stencil only a portion of your background to add a soft custom background that allows your focal point to really stand out.

TIPS: 

  • Try tone on tone packages, or embossing details in white or gold for beautiful, boutique style packages!
  • Embellish the top of your package with die cut florals or stamped florals such as I’ve done here using the Floral Confections stamp set.  This really dresses up your stack of pretty packages.

TIPS: 

  • Repeat the shape of your focal point in the background, as the circles I’ve repeated here.
  • Place your focal point on a dark background to make it “pop”.
  • Add white rhinestone gem stickers to the eyes to add a different texture.

  17. Liane Hodges and Nina Brackett had such layered detailed and most beautiful cards in my view. It was hard to choose between those two. They both had such beautiful work on this day.

  82. Melissa’s first card is my favorite as I’m partial to a splash of color and that’s what she did by adding yellow…not too much but enough to brighten the card and make it even more happy. The sentiment is wonderful and placement is perfect because it just blends into the background by the color Melissa used rather than sticking out clunky-like yet it can be seen easily. Her centerpiece are the gifts and that beautiful bow with just a couple of those yellow flowers. The design of the card is stunning! A lot of love was put into this card and it shows. Fabulous job, Melissa.
