Kelly Lunceford celebrates the promise of spring and the beauty of faith with her elegant He Is Risen Easter card. 💛🌸 Using the Just Sentiments: Easter stamp set alongside the Spring Silhouette dies, Kelly layers a softly speckled egg, sweet bunny silhouette, fresh florals, and champagne foiling for a design that feels both joyful and meaningful.

As Kelly shares, “No matter how much snow falls or how cold it gets, we know the promise of spring is right around the corner! It’s never too early to start creating for the special occasions in our life. Easter is such a special time of year where we can focus our attention on faith and hope!” This card beautifully captures that spirit with gold embossing, vellum details, and soft Lilac Grace tones.
STAMPS: Just Sentiments: Easter
STEP 1: Add the foiled design to a panel of Lilac Grace cardstock. Trim around each side until it’s slightly smaller than A2.
STEP 2: Cut the pieces for the bow from Lemon Tart cardstock. Add some shading with a blender brush using Harvest Gold ink. Attach it to the background panel using foam squares. Stamp the sentiment in black at the bottom.
STEP 3: Cut the egg and color it using speckled egg distress oxide ink, and a blender brush. Give it a light spray of walnut stain distress, oxide spray. Attach it to the panel using foam squares.
STEP 4: Cut the foliage, bunny, and flowers from white card stock and then use various inks and blender. Brushes to color. Attach them around the egg until you are satisfied with the arrangement.
STEP 5: Heat emboss the He is Risen sentiment in gold onto a strip of Vellum. Wrap it around the panel and secure it with clear tape.
STEP 6: Attach the background to an A2 white card base. Add glitter to the flowers and foliage and a trio of sparkling clear sequins to finish it off.
This project is a beautiful reminder that Easter crafting can be both faith-filled and full of joyful color. 🌸✨ From the soft foiled background to the gold-embossed “He Is Risen” sentiment, Kelly’s design captures the hope and promise of the season in such a meaningful way. Whether you’re creating cards for Easter Sunday or simply celebrating spring, let this design inspire your own heartfelt projects.
