Hello, friends!! Brenda here with you today!! I hope you’re all staying safe & warm if you’re in the path of the winter storm across the US!!

I couldn’t wait to pull out the absolutely darling Build-A -Lamb Die Set again to create a sweet Easter card for the upcoming holiday!! I used the pastel colors in the pattern paper from the Share Your Heart: Basket of Blossoms Patterned Paper Pack as a jumping off point for my color scheme and it came together from there!!
Supplies
Stamps: Thoughts of Easter Sentiments, This Is Big Sentiments: Many Blessings
Dies: Build-A-Lamb, Heirloom Hearts, Hold That Thought, This Is Big Sentiments: Many Blessings, Rounded Rectangles: Pierced
Ink: Sweet Blush, Pale Peony, Hibiscus Burst, Plum Pudding
Cardstock: Sweet Blush, Pale Peony, Lilac Grace, Lemon Tart, Spring Moss, Smokey Shadow, Stamper’s Select White
Other supplies: Share Your Heart: Basket of Blossoms Patterned Paper Pack, Star Dust Stickles, foam squares, thin foam squares, micro foam squares, liquid glue, black glaze pen, white gel pen, black fine-line marker, light gray ink

Step 1: Die-cut striped patterned paper from the Share Your Heart: Basket of Blossoms Paper Pack with the largest die in the Rounded Rectangles: Pierced Die Set. Trim a piece of Sweet Blush cardstock to 4″x5.25″. Adhere both panels to a white A2 card base with liquid glue.

Step 2: Die-cut two hearts in the Heirloom Hearts Die Set from blue polka dot paper in the Share Your Heart: Basket of Blossoms Paper Pack and Stamper’s Select White cardstock.

Step 3: Die-cut all the elements for the lamb from Sweet Blush, Pale Peony, Smoky Shadow, and Stamper’s Select White cardstock using the Build-A-Lamb Die Set. Add shading with Sweet Blush, Pale Peony, Hibiscus Burst and light gray inks with detail blending brushes. Adhere die-cuts together, adding thin foam squares between the bottom and second layer, then adhere it to the center of the heart. Draw on eyelashes with a black fine-line marker.

Step: 4: Stamp the sentiment from the Thoughts of Easter Sentiments Stamp Set onto Stamper’s Select White cardstock with Plum Pudding ink. Die-cut with the oval die in the Hold That Thought Die Set and pop up with foam squares.

Step 5: Stamp the sentiment, from the This Is Big Sentiments: Many Blessings Stamp Set, onto Stamper’s Select White cardstock with Plum Pudding ink. Die-cut “blessings” with the Coordinating Die and trim “Easter” into a narrow banner. Die-cut three more layers of “blessings” from Stamper’s Select White cardstock, adhere behind the stamped die-cut, then adhere to the background. Pop up the “Easter” sentiment strip with micro foam squares.

Step 6: Die-cut flowers and leaves in the Build-A-Lamb Die Set from Pale Peony, Lilac Grace, Spring Moss, Lemon Tart and Stamper’s Select White cardstock. Adhere the leaves with liquid glue and pop up the flowers with micro foam squares.

Step 7: Add shine to the eyes with a black glaze pen. When dry, add a dot to the center of the eyes with a white gel pen. Add Star Dust Stickles to the center of each flower.

That’s it for me today!! This card sure makes me long for spring and warmer weather here in the midwest!!
