Melissa Phillips brings soft winter beauty to her Peace card, crafting a scene that feels gentle, sparkling, and full of seasonal wonder. ❄️🌲 Using a plaid–stenciled background and a die-cut window to frame a charming potted tree, Melissa layers in snowflakes, holly, and a sentiment that speaks right to the heart. Her pastel palette and glittery touches give this design the sweetest touch of winter magic.

 

Melissa shares, “Create a window for your Winter scene by die-cutting an opening in your card front using our Love to Layer: Arches dies! Fill in with snowdrifts, pine trees, snowflakes, and anything your heart desires as the seasons change.”

SUPPLIES:
STAMPS: Farm Fresh Trees, Winter Greetings, Let it Snow
INK:  Aqua Mist, Pale Peony, Spring Rain, Soft Stone, Mint Julep, Olive Twist, Classic Kraft, Fine Linen, Ripe Avocado, Pinefeather
PAPER:  Vintage Cream, Bitty Big Pale Peony
DIES:  Farm Fresh Trees, Winter Globes:  Let it Snow, Winter Globes, Bring Home the Holidays, Love to Layer:  Arches, Let it Snow, Into the Blooms:  Holly, Cover Plate:  Elegant Ornament, Bows Galore, Cover Plate:  Cross Stitched
STENCILS:  Watercolor Plaid
OTHER:  Fossilized Amber and Saltwater Taffy Distress Spritz, sequins, Crystal Stickles glitter

STEP 1:  Stencil Vintage Cream card front using Watercolor Plaid stencil.

STEP 2:  Die cut an opening using the Love to Layer:  Arches die in the center of your card.

STEP 3:  Adhere die cut Cover Plate:  Cross Stitched and snowdrifts behind the opening. 

STEP 4:  Adhere to card base covered with Bitty Big Pale Peony.  Die cut and stamp tree and metal container and adhere to center of card, along with die cut bow, sponged with pink.

STEP 5:  Die cut Peace sentiment and ink blend with pink.  Adhere in place and stamp secondary sentiment below.

STEP 6:  Adhere die cut and stamped snowflakes and  holly and berries. Embellish with sequins and Stickles Crystal glitter.  Splatter with Distress Spritz.
