Hello, crafty friends!! Brenda here to share a trio of gift card holders for my Project Inspiration today!! I absolutely LOVE any and all snowmen!! There’s just something about them that captures my heart!!

I decided to combine some of the Holiday Tag Die Sets from the latest release with the Timeless Ornament Die Set to create some snowman ornaments that double as gift card holders!!

Supplies

Stamps: This Is Big Sentiments: Christmas Tags

Dies: This Is Big Sentiments: Christmas Tags, Timeless Ornament, Holiday Tag: Snowman, Holiday Tag: Let It Snow, Holiday Tag: Elegant Ornament

Ink: Pure Poppy, Ripe Avocado

Cardstock: Pure Poppy, Simply Chartreuse, Enchanted Evening, True Black, Orange Zest, Sweet Blush, Cocoa Bean, Stamper’s Select White

Other supplies: Pure Poppy 5/8″ Satin Dots ribbon, Enchanted Evening 3/8″ Bitty Dot & New Leaf 3/8″ Bitty Dot ribbon, Pure Poppy baker’s twine, Versamark ink, silver embossing powder, frosted silver cardstock, silver snowflake confetti, black confetti mix, liquid glue, foam squares, black fine-line marker, white gel pen

Step 1: Die-cut the Timeless Ornament Die Set from Enchanted Evening, Pure Poppy, Simply Chartreuse and frosted silver cardstock and adhere the die-cuts together with liquid glue.

Step 2: Die-cut the solid die in the Timeless Ornament Die Set six times from Stamper’s Select White cardstock. Adhere one to the back of each colored ornament for stability. Trim the top part of the other three ornaments and stamp “To and From” onto them with Pure Poppy and Ripe Avocado inks using the This Is Big Sentiments: Christmas Tags Stamp Set. Adhere the trimmed die-cuts to the back of the ornaments, adding liquid glue only to the outer edge to create a pocket.

Step 3: Die-cut the snowflakes in the Holiday Tag: Let It Snow Die Set from Stamper’s Select White cardstock. Stack and adhere them to the ornaments with liquid glue.

Step: 4: Die-cut the snowman and accessories in the Holiday Tag: Snowman Die Set from Stamper’s Select White, Pure Poppy, Enchanted Evening, Simply Chartreuse, True Black, Orange Zest, Sweet Blush and Cocoa Bean cardstock. Adhere all the die-cuts together, then adhere the snowmen to each of the ornaments with liquid glue. Add details and highlights with a white gel pen. A black fine-line marker defines the pierced dots on the mouth. Add tiny black confetti for the snowman’s eyes.

Step 5: Die-cut the “Joy” sentiment in the Holiday Tag: Elegant Ornament Die Set from frosted silver, Pure Poppy, Enchanted Evening and Simply Chartreuse cardstock. Stack and adhere them together, slightly offset, then adhere them over the snowflake die-cuts.

Step 6: Stamp the sub-sentiments from the This Is Big Sentiments: Christmas Tags Stamp Set onto Stamper’s Select White cardstock with Versamark ink and heat emboss with silver embossing powder. Cut them out with the Coordinating Dies, along with a layer from Pure Poppy, Enchanted Evening and Simply Chartreuse cardstock. Adhere the sentiment to the top of the colored cardstock layer, slightly offset, then pop the up with foam tape.

Step 7: Loop Pure Poppy Baker’s Twine through the ornament topper and tie into a knot. Tie Pure Poppy 5/8″ Satin Dots, Enchanted Evening 3/8″ Bitty Dot and New Leaf 3/8″ Bitty Dot ribbon into bows and adhere with a dot of liquid glue.

Here are some individual photos of each ornament…

And the back with a gift card inserted…

I absolutely love how these turned out and hope you do, as well!!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!! Have a great week!!

Brenda
