TIPS: 

  • Use the Watercolor Wonder Stencil to created a soft, subtle background and then stamp a few stems of leaves. 
  • Stamp and die cut additional stems of leaves. Die cut the leaves again from white cardstock and glue the layers together so that the die cut leaves stand out from the background. 
  • Finish off the inside of the card while you have your stamps out!

TIPS: 

  • Layer elements from stamps and dies that go along with the theme of the card. 
  • Use the part of stamps and dies that work with the theme of the card.  For this card, I cut of the portion of the car from the Wedding Classics to fit my theme.

  • Mix elements to create a fun background. 
  • Use vellum to soften a stamped background.
  • Blend two colors on a stamped image to create variation and depth.

TIPS: 

  • Try mixing different gold tones and elements. For this card, I mixed gold foil with gold embossing, gold watercolor splatters, and gold metallic pearls.
  • Create layered flowers with vellum and some strategically placed glue and foam dimension.

    My favorite from the Leave a Little Thanks inspiration is Melissa’s Thank You card. I love the pair up with the heart & layers & that beautiful ribbon accent. From the Reflections: Joshua inspiration, it’s Betty’s middle card. I love the blue-green colors, the framing with the minuscule mat, the sprig expanding the canvas, & the vellum label layer.
