OTHER: White Gelly Roll Pen, Foam Tabs, White paint and a fan brush, Gem Stickers, Distress Oxide Ink: Kitsch Flamingo and Candied Apple, Green Fine-tip BIC marker, Pearl Pen in Red and Pink, Silver Metallic ink, Bee Creative Precision Glue
TIPS:
- Create your own stencil my die-cutting a shape from scratch paper and blending ink over it to create the shape on your background. I used two different sized circle shapes from the Frames: Circles Die Collection to make the polka-dotted background on this card.
- Layers, layers, layers! Layers make cards interesting and dimensional. Play with adding layers for a fun background. On this card, I layered snowflake die cuts and a splatter of white paint over the bold polka dots for more interest. Add additional circle shapes for snowballs on top!
- Make your die cuts stand out. Cut multiple layers of the same shape to make your die cuts thicker and more dimensional. On this card the arching words die was cut two additional times from white cardstock to make the whole arch thicker on the card. Only the top layer needs to be stamped!

TIPS:
- To create muted tones, stamp the image in the desired color then stamp it again with some fine linen ink. Repeat the process until you get the desire color that you want.
- To stretch the look of your cover plate dies, try trimming out sections to create different looks. Here, I trimmed away the sentiment and a couple of snowflakes. I flipped the cover plate around so the bottom is now the top. Since the words are not there, it works. Plus, I get a different look.
