Melissa’s latest project is a delightful celebration of fall color and creativity. With her signature layering, playful details, and unexpected pops of seasonal charm, this design feels both fresh and inspiring for autumn cardmaking.
Melissa shares, “My new favorite fall color combo is Americana, Pale Peony, and Spring Rain, mixed with some fun Summer Sunrise as well. I love playing with color and that’s just what I’ve done on my card today. Create your own by using your favorite color combinations, whether they be for fall, winter, spring, or summer!”

Other: Perfect Present Stencil Collection, Fossilized Amber, Lumberjack Plaid, Faded Jeans Distress Spritz, white paint, Crystal Stickles glitter, adhesive gems

Step 1: Cut Mat Stack from Honey Nut cardstock.

Step 2: Stencil across the top using Americana ink.

Step 3: Add die cut scalloped layer to the center.

Step 4: Stencil rain boot using polka dot stencil and add to center of oval.

Step 5: Fill rain boot with stamped berries and greenery. Add stamped pumpkin and leaves to bottom.

Step 6: Ink blend die cut bow using Americana and adhere to top of boot. Die cut, ink blend, and assemble sunflowers and adhere.

Step 7: Splatter with Distress Spritz and white paint.

Step 8: Die cut card front. Stamp sentiment in lower left corner and add strip of striped paper across center.

Step 9: Stamp berries and greenery in corners to add more filler to boot.

Step 10: Adhere focal point to card. Embellish with sequins and Stickles glitter to finish.
