Kelly Lunceford is bringing us a breathtaking Easter card that captures the beauty, hope, and joy of the season! Soft pastels, elegant eggs, delicate bows, and fluttering butterflies create a dreamy, heartfelt design—perfect for sending love this Easter. Whether you’re crafting for friends, family, or simply celebrating the season, this card is sure to inspire!

STEP 1: Create the Watercolor Background

Using the Elegant Notes Stationery Kit Stencils, stencil a soft watercolor pattern onto an A2 panel of white cardstock with Pale Peony, Aqua Mist, and Lilac Grace ink. Trim the panel to 4” x 5 1/4” for the perfect card front.

STEP 2: Die Cut the Easter Elements

Die cut eggs and butterflies using the Elegant Eggs Die. Add shading with blender brushes and your choice of soft pastels. Once colored, layer and glue them together for added depth.

STEP 3: Assemble the Bows

Die cut bows from the Bows Galore Die and use blender brushes to add color. Secure them with liquid glue and use small foam squares for extra dimension.

STEP 4: Stamp the Sentiment

Stamp the “Rejoice” sentiment in the lower center of the background panel using Weathervane ink for a soft yet elegant contrast.

STEP 5: Arrange the Elements

Adhere the die-cut eggs to the card using foam squares for a raised effect. Attach the bows with liquid glue, and add the butterflies by gluing only their centers—bending the wings slightly to create the illusion of movement.

STEP 6: Assemble the Card

Attach the decorated background panel to a top-folding A2 Pale Peony card base using foam squares. Stamp and die cut the “Rejoice” sentiment, then adhere it at the top of the card for the perfect finishing touch.

STEP 7: Add Shimmer & Sparkle

Finish off this dreamy design with a spritz of shimmer spray and a touch of glitter for extra sparkle!

Final Touches & Inspiration

This Thoughts of Easter card is all about light, joy, and celebration. Whether you’re creating for Easter, springtime, or just sending a little love, this design can be adapted in so many ways!
