Are you ready for Day 2 of our October Christmas Countdown? I have been waiting patiently to share with you our gorgeous, Reflections: October stamp set and dies. Talk about special, meaningful, unique, and over-the-top beautiful!
Look at this amazing card our designer Stephanie created using the Reflections: October stamps and dies. For one, the scripture is so touching and a perfect representation of what Christmas is truly all about, and I absolutely love the fonts used and the size of the scripture, as it truly takes center stage and shines!
Have you ever seen a more adorable Nativity? This die can be used with or without the scripture, allowing you so many options in how to create with it. You’ll find a stable, manger, Baby Jesus, and two different sizes of stars to add to your scene. Notice how Stephanie made her Nativity look like wood. It is so realistic, isn’t it? I especially love her placement of the Baby Jesus and how she cut it from gold, glittered cardstock. Don’t you love how she ink blended behind the scripture to not only highlight it, but to make it glow? What a special card for Christmas!
TIPS:
- Try stamping your sentiment on clear acetate for a unique focal point. Then, add dimension with foam or extra cardstock for a fun shadow effect.
- Start ink blending a light ink colour in the center to highlight your sentiment. Then, gradually blend out to a darker colour to create a dramatic background.
