Penny here, I will be your guide as we countdown to our first Christmas and holiday release of the season and wait until you see what we have for your this month!

I have been waiting over a month to show you how our designers brought our new products to life, and I’m so excited it starts today!

Here at Papertrey Ink, it’s our passion to bring you designs that you will love creating with.  If you like a more simple style, every product we release has elements that can take center stage to create a simple, yet designed, focal point.

If you like a little more detail, we pack each set with as many images as possible so you have the freedom to create exactly what you want.

Each of our newly released products can be used in many different ways to fit your particular style, and I can’t wait to show you these inspiring designs.

Grab your favorite beverage, get comfy, and let’s take a look at what our featured designers created for us today. This month we wanted to bring you iconic images infused with a freshness that is irresistible!  From a classic favorite like gingerbread men (and women!) to beautifully appointed swags.  It will feel like being home with all of the wonderful and warm feelings the holiday brings.

“Don’t you just love Kelly’s plump gingerbread girl?  She’s used our cozy Kraft felt to create with, followed by felt in Sweet Blush, True Black, Vintage Cream, and Pure Poppy.  Aren’t the tiny Ric Rac accents on the arms and legs the perfect finishing touch, and I love her tiny apron, complete with a pocket.  Those tiny details add so much personality and charm!”

“Kelly’s gingerbread girl would make the cutest ornament for your Christmas tree, a garland, banner, or tag for a special package.  The size of these dies makes them the perfect addition to your Christmas crafting stash.  The die collection comes with everything you’ll need to create a gingerbread boy or girl, including buttons, bows, a rolling pin and wooden spoon, and more!”

“Our In Stitches:  Gingerbread Builder can be used with felt or paper or both, allowing so much versatility and creativity.  Our designers have an inspiring mix of projects to share with you, so be sure to check them all out.  You’ll also notice our new Border Bling:  Skinny Ric Rac dies which pair perfectly with our Gingerbread Builder.  You’ll find three sizes of Ric Rac that you can use to frame in your gingerbread man, sentiments, or other holiday focal point.  They are irresistibly cute and so fun to create with!”

TIPS:

  • Don’t forget to leave an opening to add the stuffing
  • Use liquid glue to adhere the pieces that aren’t stitched.

“Our This is Big Sentiments:  Ho Ho Ho stamp set contains the most complete variety of secondary sentiments that coordinate perfectly with our dies.  You’ll find multiple sentiments you can use for Christmas covering everything from making spirits bright to celebrate being on  Santa’s “nice” list!”

TIPS:

  • Add Stickles to the pine needles to add to the feel of snow
  • Use embroidery floss to add the stitches the Santa hat
  • Die cut the HoHoHo sentiment three times and adhere them together to add dimension

  64. I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT THE In Stitches: Gingerbread Builder! I have been waiting and hoping you would bring stitchys back and this set is THE CUTEST!!! And then…BAM, you add the Border Bling: Skinny Ric Rac dies to boot and they compliment the gingerbread so beautifully. This is Big Sentiments: HoHoHo stamps and dies set is awesome and a must have for any serious Christmas card maker. I am also very excited about the Love to Layer: Stitched Circle dies; talk about versatile! I am so inspired!
