We are halfway through our August Countdown and I couldn’t be more thrilled to share our new products with you today! I’m so excited to show you our newest Into the Blooms: Acorns dies! They are classic Autumn and can either take center stage on your handmade cards or act as embellishments and accents. The choice is yours and goodness, are there ever so many choices of how to use these realistic acorns, oak leaves, berries, and more!
Let’s have a look at what our featured designers created for us today, starting with Kelly.
The first thing I noticed about Kelly’s gorgeous card was her multi-color shading on all of her die cut elements. Beginning from light shades of Autumn colors and then adding darker touches of color around the edges, makes these Into the Blooms: Acorns really come to life.
I love her touches of gold foil in the background, created using our lovely Fallen Leaves Hot Foil Plate. This adds the perfect touch of Autumn, don’t you think?
SUPPLY LIST:
STAMPS: Just Sentiments: Happy Fall
INK: Scarlet Jewel
PAPER: Autumn Rose, Stamper’s Select White, Fine Linen, Dark Chocolate

TIPS:
- Use the area of the largest acorn to stamp an autumn sentiment.
- Try using three or more colors on the leaves for realism.
- Add ink blending around the edges of the background before hot foiling.
Our new Fall Harvest stamps and dies were inspired by Fall seed packets such as pumpkin seeds, apples, and sunflowers. We love the vintage, intricate look and feel of seed packets from days gone by and are so happy to bring you these new products! You’ll love the window die cut from the seed packet, the sentiment options, and all of the gorgeous accessories that enable you to make these packets your own.
I love how Brenda always thinks outside the box when it comes to her color choices. Her pink sunflowers melt my heart and add the sweetest touch of femininity. Did you notice she used Vintage Cream cardstock? This gorgeous color adds the slightest touch of warmth and is perfect for Autumn.
Her Melon Berry foiled background using our new Fall Harvest Hot Foil Plate is full of graceful movement and elegance! This hot foil plate coordinates perfectly with the vintage seed packets found in the Fall Harvest stamp set and dies. We just had to combine to the two to carry the beauty through from the focal point of the card to the background and the results are stunning.

Nina’s Thankful card is a stunner! I love the brilliant pop of red she’s added to really make her sunflower seed packet stand out. The red also helps her This is Big Sentiments: Thankful stand out from the background as well.
Did you notice how Nina used our Cover Plate: Handmade Quilt die in the background? The distressed, curled corners add the most subtle weathered look that I have to try my hand at. Nina is the queen of vintage touches and this card is just one example of her inspiring creativity.
