Penny here, I will be your guide as we countdown to our July release.
I’m so excited to show you how our designers brought our new products to life.
Here at Papertrey Ink it’s our passion to bring you designs that you will love creating with. If you like a more simple style, every product we release has elements that can take center stage to create a simple, yet designed, focal point.
If you like a little more detail, we pack each set with as many images as possible so you have the freedom to create exactly what you want.
Each of our newly released products can be used in many different ways to fit your particular style, and I can’t wait to show you these epic designs.
Let’s have a look at what our featured designers created for us today, it’s all so fabulous! You know how I feel about our Reflections series, it’s so wonderful and uplifting, you can never go wrong sending a card with these beautiful messages.
A couple of things I noticed and just love about JJ’s card is how she sponged light green ink to not only the centers of her flowers, but also the center area where the petals meet. This effect allows the center color to extend out into the bloom, adding such a realistic look!
And did you see how she’s used foam adhesive to adhere each layer of her flowers to create lots of depth and dimension? Oh my, just gorgeous!

Isn’t Betty’s card to die for? (🤣 that’s card craft humor) I adore how she used torn and curled paper edges! What could be easier than adding this technique to your cards to give it a playful vintage feel.
I also love how Betty has used our Cozy Cafe Frame 2 Die beneath her sentiment, adding one extra, lovely layer.

Then add sequins and bow to take this card up a notch.
I don’t know about you, but plan to make this card, and then keep it for myself.

Our last featured card by Betty is simply stunning!
Look how cozy this is! I love how Betty added a quilted look to her card by using our Cover Plate: Decorative Circles Die. Did you know you can use our Cover Plates to emboss instead of die cut your backgrounds just as Betty has done here?
I also love how Betty layered her Zinnia, adding the smaller bloom to the top of the larger. Another fun detail to point out is how she added the center flower ring beneath her flower center, instead of on top…such a fun surprise!
Notice how Betty has used our Reflections: July Die on all three of her cards! This means it’s a must-have in my crafty stash. It provides the perfect layering piece and spot for any sentiment you choose.
