Welcome to our Day 2 of the February Countdown. Here at Papertrey Ink we love to bring you tons of variety. If you like more simple designs or something a little more challenging, we have you covered. Each of our newly released products can be used in so many different ways to fit your particular style, we are excited to show you how they come to life!
Hi, it’s Melissa, and I’m so thrilled to share our new products with you. We absolutely love bringing you the most amazing images made from the highest quality materials for you to add to your creative toolkit. I’m going to show you what I created with these wonderful products and then we’ll show you what the other designers made. I’ve used the gorgeous, new Into the Blooms: Spring Nest dies and stencils, the Delightful Bunnies stencils, and Easter Bunnies stamps and dies on my card today. Let’s jump right in!
I think you’ll love our new Into the Blooms: Spring Nest dies just as much as I do. I have been dreaming of a beautiful nest from Papertrey Ink for quite some time and I am happy to report that one is available, complete with stencils for you to create patterns on the tiny egg die included in the die set. Choose from speckles, such as I have used on my eggs, leaves, hearts, stripes, and zig zags.
I wanted to try my hand at a die cut nest, cut from book print and I love the results! Our Into the Blooms: Spring Nest is a layered die, with three different nest pieces which you’ll use to build your nest, followed by die cut eggs, leaves, vine, and flowers. This is the cutest die collection!
Behind my nest, I used the adorable Delightful Bunnies stencils, which is a multi-step stencil complete with bunnies, tails, carrots, carrot tops, flowers, and their leaves. It’s adorable! My sentiment is from the new Thoughts of Spring stamp set and is one of my favorites…don’t you love its meaning?

TIPS:
- Use the accent elements from the nest, set to create tiny vignettes for a different look.

- Use two sentiments: one bold, and the other one a little bit softer for a unique look.
TIPS:
- Create a custom background using the watercolor plaid stencils.
- Add realism to the eggs by leaving a little bit of white space. They really do look like they are shining.
- Use a foam pad and a stylus to create dimensional flowers
My next card uses the new Easter Buddies stamp set and it’s loaded with all sorts of fun for you and younger crafters to enjoy! Create cows, chicks, bunnies, and more from this sweet stamp set.
You’ll find a basket, mini eggs, grasses, an egg-shaped body, faces, ears, feet, and more in our Easter Buddies stamp set, allowing you to build your own animal Easter eggs! I couldn’t wait to try creating a chick and love how it turned out, nestled next to my basket full of greens and eggs.
I stamped grasses across the bottom of my card using images from the Flutter and Flowers stamp set. Next, I built my scene on a die cut Love to Layer: Soft Scallops die. I picked a sentiment from the new Thoughts of Spring stamp set and added in die cut, felt flowers and leaves from the new Into the Blooms: Spring Nest die set. I framed everything by using a die cut, Border Bling: Scalloped Frame, cut from Lemon Tart cardstock…love this happy, Springtime color, don’t you?
