Welcome to the final day of the January Countdown. Here at Papertrey Ink we love to bring you tons of variety. If you like more simple designs or something a little more challenging, we have you covered. Each of our newly released products can be used in so many different ways to fit your particular style, we are excited to show you how they come to life!
Hi, it’s Melissa, and I’m so thrilled to share our new products with you. We absolutely love bringing you the most amazing images made from the highest quality materials for you to add to your creative toolkit. I’m going to show you what I created with these wonderful products and then we’ll show you what the other designers made. Today’s projects use the new Scribble Balloons stamp set and dies and the lovely, Tropical Frond Hot Foil Plate.
Our new Scribble Balloons are certainly adorable and oh, so playful! In this set you’ll find a variety of balloons in different shapes and sizes, including a cute star-shaped balloon. You’ll also find two different sizes of presents and bows and coordinating sentiments.
Each image in this set comes with a unique, scribbled outline, which makes this set so exciting and creative. Whether you choose to color in your images, stamp them, or die cut them from patterned paper, this set is full of such fun possibilities. I stamped my images using the solid images included in the set.
I added water droplets, Distress Spray, and white paint to add added personality and interest. I love how you can tie the balloons to the package or leave them free to float! I used a sentiment from the Birthday Your Way II stamp set and a Border Bling: Skinny Diagonals Frame to frame in my birthday scene.

The Tropical Frond Hot Foil Plate was used on my second and final card today and I am in LOVE with it! This is such a unique and striking hot foil plate, filled with endless possibilities!
I began with a block of white cardstock and used gold foil with my Tropical Frond Hot Foil Plate. Did you know you can purchase foil in the Papertrey Ink store? It’s true! I then framed it in using the Border Bling: Skinny Diagonals Frame once again…it’s a must-have!
I then added florals cut using the Into the Blooms: Dahlias die and added gold paint splatters. Once again, my sentiment comes from the Birthday Your Way II stamp set and dies. There is such a wide variety of fonts, styles, and sayings in this one set…you’ll love selecting just the right one for your birthday cards and tags.
