Welcome to Day 1 of the January Countdown.  Here at Papertrey Ink we love to bring you tons of variety.  If you like more simple designs or something a little more challenging, we have you covered.  Each of our newly released products can be used in so many different ways to fit your particular style, we are excited to show you how they come to life!

Hi, it’s Melissa, and I’m so thrilled to share our new products with you.  We absolutely love bringing you the most amazing images made from the highest quality materials for you to add to your creative toolkit.  I’m going to show you what I created with these wonderful products and then we’ll show you what the other designers made. I’ve used the gorgeous, new Fantastic Front dies, Lofty Petals stamps and dies, Occasional Cupcakes stamps and dies, and Love to Layer: Soft Scallops on my cards today.

Our new Fantastic Front dies and Lofty Petals stamps and dies were used on my first card today and I am smitten with them!  The Fantastic Front die allows you to create a lovely, soft, scalloped card front that you can simply fold right over the top, bottom, or both of your card base.

It consists of two dies, one that graces the front of your card and the second that is a beautiful, smaller die cut that provides a perfect landing space for your sentiment.  I cut my Fantastic Front from pink patterned paper and folded it over a stenciled Kraft card base.  I used the Playful Dots Stencil and Fresh Ink to create my stenciling.

Before adhering my sentiment label die cut, I stamped the stems from the Lofty Petals stamp set on the front of my card.  I then added stamped and die cut Lofty Petals to complete my flowers.  This set is full of the most beautiful, delicate florals and such darling sentiments too!

My next card uses the adorable Occasional Cupcakes stamps and dies and Love to Layer:  Soft Scallops dies.  You’ll love these delightful, versatile, irresistible, new products just as much as I do!  Once again, I used the Fantastic Front die to create the pretty, scalloped edge across the front of my card.  I layered it over a dotted, aqua background.

I then used the largest scallop from the Love to Layer:  Soft Scallops die and used it under my sweet, bunny cupcake…perfect for Spring!  You’ll find three different sizes of scalloped circles in the Love to Layer:  Soft Scallops.  They are just the right size for creating focal points and for stamping sentiments on.  I adore them!  In the Occasional Cupcakes stamp set, you’ll find everything you need to create cupcakes for all occasions such as Christmas, Easter, Spring, Valentine’s Day, birthdays, and more!

My bunny was stamped on Sweet Blush cardstock and heat embossed using white embossing powder.  I stamped my cupcake wrapper, eggs, carrots, and darling grass for the frosting in fresh, Spring colors.  It feels so good to be creating for Spring, doesn’t it?  The tiny bow at the top of my circle is from a new die collection you’ll be learning about very soon.  My sentiment is from the Larger Than Life:  Spring stamp set, and my scallops and border down the center of my card is from the Birthday Tag Kit die collection.  I LOVE these products!
