Into the Blooms: Wreath + Chalkboard Love + At the Bottom

December 26, 2023      Papertrey Ink      Leave a Comment

Welcome to Day 3 of the December Countdown.  Here at Papertrey Ink we love to bring you tons of variety.  If you like more simple designs or something a little more challenging, we have you covered.  Each of our newly released products can be used in so many different ways to fit your particular style, we are excited to show you how they come to life!

Hi, it’s Melissa, and I’m so thrilled to share our new products with you.  We absolutely love bringing you the most amazing images made from the highest quality materials for you to add to your creative toolkit.  I’m going to show you what I created with these wonderful products and then we’ll show you what the other designers made. I’ve used lovely, new Into the Blooms:  Wreath dies on my first card, and oh, how I adore this die set!  It’s what a crafter’s dreams are made of!

Our Into the Blooms series needed a wreath, don’t you think?  This particular wreath comes complete with a variety of flowers, leaves, and berries…everything you need to make a custom wreath that is just your style, and for a wide array of occasions too!  I die cut my pieces from Kraft cardstock and then sponged ink over each piece using Simply Chartreuse, Scarlet Jewel, Berry Sorbet, and Summer Sunrise.  I love how Kraft cardstock softens and deepens the colors used over it.

After I assembled my wreath, I splattered it with white acrylic paint and then adhered it to a dotted embossed block of white cardstock.  I added a stamped and die cut sentiment from the Forever & Always Sentiments set.  This card will be perfect for a wedding, anniversary, birthday, and any number of other occasions.

I created my background on a block of Sweet Blush cardstock that I ran through my die cut machine using the Tin Stitch die.  I then stamped it with florals and greens using the With All My Heart stamp set and beautiful flourishes using the Fanciful Flourishes stamp set.  Such a delightful card to create!

SUPPLY LIST:

STAMPS: With All My Heart, Forever & Always Sentiments, Fanciful Flourishes

I’m excited to introduce you to the darling, new Chalkboard Love stamps and dies and At the Bottom Stencils used on my next card.

The At the Bottom Stencils come in a sweet assortment of patterns and all the right size to fit across the bottom or top portion of your cards…you choose!  I selected the tiny rosebud pattern and stenciled them over white cardstock.  I then die cut and embossed the bracket from the Psalm Reflections:  December die set, using True Black cardstock.  I sponged Fresh Snow ink over the edges to create a chalkboard feel.  A white gel pen was used in the embossed swirls to highlight them.  I added stamped chalkboard florals, swirls, leaves, flourishes, and a sentiment.

I added die cut Love to Layer:  Rounded Hearts to the center of my bracket and topped the smaller heart with my sentiment.  To further embellish my card, I used die cut flowers from the Into the Blooms:  Wreath die set and stamped and die cut Fanciful Flourishes to finish.
