Welcome to our Day 2 of the November Countdown. Here at Papertrey Ink we love to bring you tons of variety. If you like more simple designs or something a little more challenging, we have you covered. Each of our newly released products can be used in so many different ways to fit your particular style, we are excited to show you how they come to life!
Hi, it’s Melissa, and I’m so thrilled to share our new products with you. We absolutely love bringing you the most amazing images made from the highest quality materials for you to add to your creative toolkit. I’m going to show you what I created with these wonderful products and then we’ll show you what the other designers made. I’ve used the gorgeous new Sweet Holiday stamps and dies and On the Edge: Scallop Collection dies on my card today.
Milk, cookies, and cocoa for Santa, complete with peppermints, marshmallows, and of course, cookies! What could be sweeter? I adore the new Sweet Holiday stamps and dies. They take me right back to my childhood and creating with them is an absolute treat!
Before adding my Sweet Holidays images, I die cut two strips of scallops using the new On the Edge: Scallop Collection dies. They line the sides of my card. This set comes with the most beautiful and largest variety of scallops you’ve ever seen, and they’re all in one place for you to pick and choose from. If you’re a scallop-lover like me, you’ll be certain to enjoy these too.
After adding my scallops, I added a block of vellum, cut using the new Love to Layer: Deckled Edges die, and then my focal point, which consists of a die cut Love to Layer: Heart and die cut and stamped images from the Sweet Holiday stamp set. You’ll find a snowman marshmallow, peppermint stick and candy, even a dollop of whipped cream. All you have to do is create to your heart’s content!

My second card uses the gorgeous, new Into the Blooms: Evergreen dies and Love to Layer: Deckled Edge dies. What a fun bunch of inspiring products!
I chose to go with nontraditional evergreen colors, choosing some Winter pastels for my trees. After die cutting each of them, I added color by ink blending over each tree. I chose to use Hibiscus Burst, Pure Poppy, Hawaiian Shores, Limeade Ice, and Lilac Grace, speckled with Distress Spray in coordinating colors. I added puff embossing powder to create a clocked look on my trees.
My evergreens are layered on two Love to Layer: Deckled Edge die cuts and my sentiment is from the new Winter Greetings stamps and dies, which you’ll be hearing more about very soon. Across the bottom of my card I added in some scallops using the new On the Edge: Scallops die. So much to love, don’t you think?
