Welcome to day 2 of the August countdown. Here at Papertrey Ink we love to bring you tons of variety. If you like more simple designs or something a little more challenging, we have you covered. Each of our newly released products can be used in so many different ways to fit your particular style, we are excited to show you how they come to life!
Hi, it’s Melissa, and I’m so excited to share our new products with you. We absolutely love bringing you the most amazing images made from the highest quality materials for you to add to your creative toolkit. I’m going to show you what I created with these wonderful products and then we’ll show you what the other designers made. The card below was created using our new Love to Layer: Leaves dies and Leave it to Me stamps and dies.

You’ll love our Love to Layer: Leaves dies. They come in three different sizes and are the perfect size to hold your sentiment or use as accents on your cards. I die cut the largest leaf from burlap and the medium leaf from watercolor paper. My sentiment from the new Give Thanks Sentiments is the perfect size to fit across the front of the medium leaf.

The new Leave it to Me stamps and dies are irresistible and perfect for Autumn. You’ll find a variety of different shapes and sizes of leaves, each with a second stamp that adds the veins. I stamped mine in Autumn colors and tucked them under the Love to Layer: Leaves dies. In the background, I have used the Border Bling: Tin Stitch die and Stencil Basics: Dots Stencil.

My next card uses the new Elegant Edges: Wheat Stalks dies along with the Love to Layer: Leaves dies and Fresh Florals stamps and dies. These products work so beautifully together!

I cut my Elegant Edges: Wheat Stalks from Honey Nut cardstock, cutting them across the bottom and top of my block of cardstock. This created a beautiful frame for my Love to Layer: Leaves.

I die cut my largest leaf from vellum cardstock and heat embossed the second part of my sentiment across the front. I layered it over a second die cut leaf, cut from patterned paper. I stamped the first part of my sentiment on the smallest Love to Layer: Leaf. I’ve used sentiments from the Give Thanks Sentiments stamp set.

Fresh Florals stamped in Autumn colors were tucked in around my cheesecloth bow and near the top of my vellum leaf.

TIPS:
- Die cut a window with the leaves to create a shaker element
- Use an ink smooshing technique to get variations of color on die cut leaves
- Ink up Leave It To Me stamps with two or more colors of Distress Oxide inks for an imperfect and textural effect
- Splatter leaves to add interest.
My third card card today uses our gorgeous, new Psalm Reflections: August stamp set and Border Bling: Falling Leaves die.

The Border Bling: Falling Leaves die frames in our Psalm Reflections: August perfectly as you’ll see from many of our designers. I die cut mine from watercolor cardstock and sponged ink over the surface using a variety of Autumn colors. I then spritzed water over the leaves and added a bit of Distress Spray splatters.

I sponged ink over the center of my frame using Aqua Mist ink and Distress Spray splatters. I then die cut a medium bracket from the Love to Layer: Lovely Bracket die collection using Spring Moss cardstock. I stamped my Psalm using Cocoa Bean ink and adhered it in the lower right corner.

The Psalm Reflection: August die is the most beautiful, little flourish. I die cut two and stamped them in Melon Berry ink, adding them to the top and bottom of my Psalm. I added in Fresh Florals once again in Autumn colors to embellish around my bracket and Psalm.
