Today’s new products make me so happy. I loved creating with the Hooray it’s Your Birthday stamp set and dies and Cover Plate: Jumbo Dots die. The possibilities are absolutely endless…let’s get started!

I began with the darling, new Cover Plate: Jumbo Dots die over a Harvest Gold cardstock base. I love the scattered and varied sizes of the dots in this Cover Plate. They remind me of a happy, smattering of confetti falling from the air. I softened my background with vellum a bit so my die cut balloons would be sure to stand out from the background.

I used the Hooray it’s Your Birthday dies to cut my trio of balloons. One of my balloons uses the emboss-resist technique after I stamped it with our new Birthday Wishes Background stamp. I sponged ink over each balloon, allowing the text, texture, and designs to show through. To bring about added detail, I went over each embossed or pierced image using my Copic Markers in coordinating colors. I love how they turned out!

The Hooray it’s Your Birthday stamps and dies also come with cute tassels and string that can hang from the bottoms of each balloon. You’ll also find streamers, confetti, and delightful sentiments to add to your cards. I stamped my sentiment on a die cut Tag It Mini tag and attached it to one of my happy, plump birthday balloons. I embellished each with die cut felt flowers, cut using the Window Garden die collection.

Introducing the new Psalm Reflections: July stamp set and gorgeous, coordinating die. These are the perfect addition to our Psalm Reflections series. You’ll love this thoughtful and optimistic scripture and will enjoy creating with it just as I have done on with card today.

I love the Psalm Reflections: July coordinating die as it is just the right size for this psalm as well as the others in our series. It’s a beautiful bracket shape with embossed and pierced detail surrounding the outside edges. I stenciled rays of sunshine on my bracket using the Sunburst Stencil Collection. I then stamped my sentiment using Melon Berry ink.

I surrounded my psalm with our new Into the Blooms: Poppies dies, which you’ll be learning all about tomorrow. They are beauties! Behind my psalm, I used a block of white cardstock stenciled with clouds from the Clouds Stencil Collection, creating a blue sky to go with my sunburst.

A bit of Bitty Big Hawaiian Shores paper was the perfect finishing touch to bring in the blues of my clouds and compliment my bright, pink poppies. I love creating with our Psalm Reflections…they each uplift and inspire me and I’m always excited to share my cards with the special people in my life when they’re complete.
