It’s our final day of the June Countdown and today we’re introducing the new Pack Your Suitcase stamps and dies. You’ll love stuffing your suitcase full of essentials as you prepare a card for the fellow traveler and send them off on their adventure.
I love the open concept of the tiny suitcase in this set, complete with wheels to roll it through the airport to to catch your next taxi! I used the Eiffel Tower from the Tuck It: Travel stamp set. My daughter just got back from a trip to Paris, so I had her in mind while creating my card today,
I filled my suitcase with flip flops, a hat, sunglasses, camera, airplane ticket, and passport. You’ll find all of these things wrapped up just for you in the Pack Your Suitcase stamp set. I imagine adding a few flowers and envelopes in the next suitcase I create…wouldn’t that be cute?
I used the Vintage Postage stamp set for my postmark. It ties in perfectly with this stamp set! Behind my scene, I used the Weathered Tile Stencil Collection to create my background on a die cut Border Bling: Postage Frame along with the darling Corner Decor stamps and dies to add just a couple of final touches.

TIPS:
- Combine a small sentiment with a larger sentiment for a custom look
- Use elements from the Tuck It: Travel stamp, set to enhance the vacation feel
TIPS:
- Heat emboss your sentiment in detail white embossing powder on dark cardstock for a bold look
- Keep the top and the bottom of the suitcase, separated where they meet so you can easily tuck things in the suitcase.
- Use a tone-on-tone background with a detailed Cover Plate for added detail and texture
TIPS:
- Use gold drip drops to accent the flip-flops
- Use greenery to tuck inside the suitcase and behind for a whimsical work
- Use shimmer spray for an overall sparkle and shine
Are you ready for our final reveal? We’ve saved our darling Pleasing Pineapples Hot Foil Plate for last and with good reason….it’s the star of the summertime show!
I used my Pleasing Pineapples Hot Foil Plate once for my background using silver foil and a second time as an impression plate. I sponged color over my impressions using Bright Buttercup, Raspberry Fizz, and New Leaf. I then added a bit of water droplets and Distress Ink in splatters. I used the Mix & Mat: Pretty Brackets to create my second layer.
The swaying palm trees from the Tuck It: Travel stamp set and dies were the perfect accent for the center of my card. I stamped my palms in Lovely Lady, New Leaf, and Sweet Blush….I kind of love the look of those pink palm trees! Fun to think outside the box.
I love this sentiment from the Just Sentiments: Days of Summer stamp set and stamped it on a die cut Love to Layer: Delightful Brackets and nestled the trio of tree trunks directly under it. Simple but sweet!
