You’ll fall head over flip flops for our new Inside Greetings: Days of Summer stamp set and Beach Bag Stencils. Both so thoughtfully created and beautifully made…they’re perfect for celebrating summer days!

“Sending you sunny wishes for summer days that are filled only with magic!” Aren’t lazy summer days spent outside picnicking or at the sandy beach the best? They truly are magical and that’s just what our new Inside Greetings: Days of Summer sentiments evoke with each thoughtful phrase. I paired my sentiment with the new Go-To-To Gift Card Holder: Beach Bag Dies and selected just a few elements from this die set to use.

You’ll find four different sentiments in our new Inside Greetings set and have the hardest time selecting just which one to use. Two different fonts were used, making the possibilities of this set even more exciting. Behind my scene I used our new Pleasing Pineapple Hot Foil Plate, foiling in matte pink foil. I adore pineapples for summer and pink pineapples are even sweeter! I then used the Mix & Mat: Snowflake die for a second layer.

Along with my sun hat, flip flops, and sunglasses, I added a couple of Into the Blooms: Fun Flowers to the mix and love how they accent and frame in my sentiment. The Beach Bag Stencils would make the cutest background for this stamp set. Imagine a variety of beach bags in different shapes and sizes scattered around the backdrop of your card. This is a two-step stencil allowing you to add color to your beach bag base and then add all of the tiny details!
Supplies Used:
STAMPS: Inside Greetings: Days of Summer
INK: Raspberry Fizz, Melon Berry, Hibiscus Burst, Green Parakeet, Bright Buttercup
PAPER: Stamper’s Select White
DIES: Go-To Gift Card Holder: Beach Bag, Mix & Mat: Snowflakes, Into the Blooms: Fun Flowers, Elegant Edges: Fresh Cuts
OTHER: Pleasing Pineapple Hot Foil Plate, patterned paper, Stickles glitter, Sweet Blush felt, pink foil, adhesive gems

TIPS:
- Add darker ink to stamps with a blending brush or dauber to add depth to an image, as I did here with the palm trees.
- Look at the shapes of your dies to see how they may be used in a different way than intended. I used the die for the globe in the Tuck It: Travel die set to cut out the moon.
- Add a frame to hide all of the layers of die-cuts.
- White pigment ink was added to the background with a blending brush to add a soft glow around the moon. Be sure to place the ink onto your work surface so you don’t transfer ink to your white ink pad.

Introducing our lovely, new Psalm Reflections: June stamp set and coordinating dies. “Blessed be His glorious name forever; may He fill the earth with His glory.” Psalm 72:19. Such a gorgeous psalm and most definitely sure to touch the recipients heart.

Do you have special people in your life that you share your handmade Psalm Reflections cards with? This month’s psalm is all about filling the earth with the precious and lifesaving name and words of our Savior. I wanted my card to be soft and sweet, so I started with a pastel pink and yellow color palette.

I used the Cornered: Doily die to created a fresh, delicate background behind my psalm, cutting it in all four corners of my Sweet Blush card base. I then used the Vase Collection 14 stamps and dies to add florals beneath my psalm.

The coordinating die cut and embossed corners of the Psalm Reflections: June dies are my favorite, sweet, accent. Very unexpected but oh, so effective. I sponged ink in Bright Buttercup over my die cuts and added them to the corners of my card. Both are topped with Into the Blooms II floral dies, Stickles glitter, and adhesive gems. Such a fun card to make!
