Today we are celebrating our military heroes with our Day 2 products. With Memorial Day approaching and the 4th of July not too far away, our military-themed products have been designed to highlight our fabulous Service Men and Women. Introducing the new Our Heroes stamp set and dies and our Love to Layer: Charming Brackets dies.
Our Heroes might just be my most favorite stamp set ever! I love the meaning behind the set with all of the fabulous sentiments and images so well thought out and meaningful. I stamped stars from this set to create my background, stamping in Stormy Sea ink over Weathervane cardstock. I then used the stripes from the set to create a border around my Mix & Mat: Postal die cut.
I added some Bitty Big Soft Stone paper to the center of my card and stamped my secondary sentiment using Stormy Sea ink with stars stamped in Scarlet Jewel. It’s so fun to pull out my masculine ink and cardstock colors and create patriotic cards. I find this theme so inspiring!
The new Love to Layer: Charming Brackets dies come in a trio of essential shapes this month and I can tell they’ll get lots of use on my craft table. The largest die is a charming bracket shape indeed, with circles for the center and smallest shapes. They come complete with embossed and pierced edges that I adore. I love the Our Heroes stamps with their coordinating dies. They were designed to resemble patches, medals, and dog tags found in the military. I used the fun circular patch with wings, arrows turned into tails under my patch, and the fabulous star patch used at the top. Sit back and enjoy what the other designers have created using these new products. They are incredibly special and inspiring!

Our designer Melody created this ultra-inspiring card and I just couldn’t wait to share it with you. Our Footlocker dies come with trunks and cases designed to hold camouflage uniforms, a letter from home, military boots, binoculars, dog tags, and more!
Melody let her Footlocker dies take center stage, stacking two of them and filling the top with all of these special embellishments. I love the die cut, stenciled “U.S.” you can die cut on the front of the case. Aren’t the metallic straps, corners, and latches the perfect finishing touches? Behind Melody’s Footlocker, she’s used the Our Heroes stamp set to create her background. These new products work so wonderfully well together.
