It’s Day 1 of our April Countdown and I couldn’t be more excited to have you here joining in on all of the fun! We’re starting off this month with our gorgeous, new Elegant Edges; Baroque dies and Inside Greetings: Celebration II stamp set. These products work so perfectly together and you’re bound to love them just as much as I do.

The Elegant Edges: Baroque dies create the loveliest of edges for your card fronts. I love the intricate details in this beautiful, new die. You’ll adore the swirls, and delicate designs that can easily transition between masculine and feminine cards.

I created a frame for my Inside Greetings: Celebration II sentiment by cutting two of the Elegant Edges: Baroque dies. One to go across the top of my sentiment and one just below. I die cut my edges from white cardstock, swiped the edges across a watermark ink pad, then coated them in Shabby Green Embossing Enamel, and lastly heat embossed the powder. It created such a lovely, shabby shimmer.

My sentiment is one of several included in the new Inside Greetings: Celebration II stamp set. This new set comes complete with sentiments that help celebrate special occasions and milestones in life. Each is so lovingly thought out. I stamped it on a die cut Love to Layer: Delightful Brackets die, which you’ll be hearing much more about in a day or so. Take my word for it, this set of dies is irresistibly beautiful and create the perfect landing spot for your sentiment or focal point…I adore their shapes! You may notice in the background a soft, zig zag pattern? That’s the new Chevron Stencil and if you read on, you’ll learn all about it! The tiny, yellow flowers used to highlight my sentiment are from the Cup of Love die…too entirely adorable, aren’t they?

I can’t get over how much I enjoy using this next set of products. If you love creating masculine cards, we’ve got plenty of exciting, new products to inspire you this month. Introducing the new A Little Rugged stamp set and dies, Chevron Stencils, and Ripped Banner dies. Let’s get right to my card for the day.

I used the Chevron Stencils on an Ocean Tides die cut, using a tone on tone effect. The Chevron Stencils come in two different sizes and orientations. One is wide and vertical in nature and the other is more narrow and horizontal. This allows you to create a variety of backgrounds using this fun pattern. I layered this piece over our new Cover Plate: Exquisite die, which I’ll share more details about in a coming day. For now, just enjoy this beautiful, Kraft-colored background.

The new A Little Rugged stamps and dies create fabulous sentiments for the men in your life. Choose from “Awesome, Favorite, Special” and more. Combine multiple words together to create your own custom sentiments, just perfect for dad, grandpa, brother, uncle, etc. I love the coordinating dies that make this set even more special and fun to use. Mine are stamped and heat embossed in gold on Ocean Tides cardstock and then layered over a hot foil shape from the Elegant Notes Stationery Kit.

To carry on the masculine theme of my card, I added a die cut and stamped fishing pole complete with a fish on the line, from the new Tuck It: Dad stamp set. We’ll be highlighting this set more in a couple of days, but I just had to use it on this card.
